The reception staff and everyone we encountered were an absolute pleasure and the hotel is so immaculately decorated. It has a trendy, fun restaurant that gets super busy so make a reservation if you plan on stopping in. It also has another restaurant in the cellar that we didn't get a chance to check out. The rooms are clean and cozy with a generous bathroom. I would definitely come back to The Ross if in Killarney again.

We didn't stay here just came for the pub and great music. We were refered by a local who played in…read morethe band the night we came. It was well worth it and a lot of fun. From 9:30-11 they have traditional irish music and then from 11;30-2 they have irish rock. This is really just "pop/american radio music" with a twist. It is good and worth a visit. Drinks are cheap and talking to the locals and having a blast seems almost guaranteed. I'm not sure what the "pony" reviewer did but this place couldn't be more friendly.

I have to wonder what Pony C. did while in The Grand. I am an American and everyone, staff and locals, was inviting, pleasant and friendly. If I had gone to The Grand before my last night and not had an early am train to Dublin, I would have loved staying late into the night and dancing into the wee hours!
