I asked the gentleman that answered if he could come to my location to give me an estimate for fixing the cracks in my stucco on my home. I told him that I lived in Lehigh Acres. He was willing to come. He came with his wife on the following Sunday as it was Father's Day 15th June. On June 17th I got an email stating that the cost would be $1000. I told home that was way to much and asked if he could do just the worst area. They refigured the estimate and it was $385. I agreed to pay that amount. On June 26 I paid him half of what the amount of $192.50. I trusted him as he was a veteran, as I am a veteran as well as a wife to a deceased veteran. Thought that he was trust worthy. I received an email stating he was coming to my residence on the 30th of June and this was the 29th of June. I told him I wasn't going to be here as I have an appointment. I also gave him the days that I will not be home 9th, 15th, 16th July. I get a text message that he came to my residence on the 25 to do the work but I never got a email confirming he was coming. The wife never told him or I. So now that he knows the days I won't be home. I waited till the 22 of July to call him to find out if I was put on the schedule at some time. I was informed that he was going out of town that day for a job and wouldn't be back till late Saturday. I said ok. Can we schedule it for next week which was set for 9 on Tuesday the 29th of July. Well the 29th came and went and this is Wednesday the 30th of July. NO CALL, NO EMAIL, NO TEXT NOTHING. He took my money as far as I'm concerned he stole from a senior citizen ME. After all the reviews that I've done on Yelp, this is definitely one that I feel compelled to do…read morebecause Istvan from Siesta Key Drywall really saved us. When we recently needed to update our condo, we had met with a number of contractors and finally selected one that had history of working at our association. He ended up bailing on the job which left us hanging and we needed to have our renovations done by a certain date. Our painter (another amazing, high quality contractor--Glen Paine Painting) suggested Siesta Key Drywall which was confirmed by our property manager as one of the best in the business. Sight-unseen on references, I decided to take a chance on this company and Istvan based on what we discussed over the phone. We primarily needed to have our popcorn ceilings removed, as well as major patching of some walls. All the other contractors we had spoken with, were super reluctant to do the popcorn removal and many quoted me to have it re-done with orange peel texture or worse, skip-trough. When I spoke with Istvan, he told me that it wouldn't take him any more effort to just make it smooth. Man, the result is stellar. My standards are high, but this work really exceeded my expectations. Istvan and his crew were super clean and meticulous in their work. One contractor had explained to me that removing popcorn required so much water sprayed to the ceilings that it softens the popcorn so when it's reasonably wet, it's like cottage cheese dripping down. ICK! My carpet and floors and my furniture all looked like nothing so gruesome happened. This is sign of a very meticulous group of professionals! Then, recently we had a leak in the condo which really damaged the ceilings and walls. Istvan just cleanly repaired it with only a phone call once it was done. Having seen it recently, I could not tell where the leak even was. His pricing is very fair - he's not cheap but neither is the quality of his work so you truly get the value for what you pay for. He is good with communication and letting me know where things are, without over-communicating as I've experienced with some of the other contractors. He is a gem and I hope to have him do more work for us on our place.

He demanded final payment when the job was finished. However, one could not really inspect the final product due to the two hour drying period. In addition, his company broke the hose connection which cost me around $50 to repair. I understand he has a huge project in a new development still I expected at least a phone call.
