(la version française en bas)…read more I went for lunch and got the kebab sandwich/pocket for €5. Inside the warm, freshly baked bread was shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions, kebab, and a white garlicky sauce. The meat tasted of very good quality, and the bread was perfectly chewy. For the price, I couldn't have asked for a better kebab meal.

I came at 8pm, and the place is jam packed! I ordered a something that looked like a burrito with veal and a white sauce. I waited for it, since everything is made to order. So I watched the type of clientele that was patronizing the place, since that is usually how I judge a place. There were families, couples, single parents, teenagers, university students, etc. It was a nice group of different people. There were also UBEReats people with large orders. I waited about 30 minutes for my galette. I didn't think much, but WOW I was pleasantly surprised. The veal was moist and shaved thin so it got nicely browned and crispy edges. The sauce was pleasant. It was called "sauce blanche Algérienne." I would recommend that you give it a try. I get that the locals may not like it since many people say that the food in the Lyon area is the best in France. But that doesn't mean much to me since I think French food is bland.
