Heather was so beyond flexible and accommodating with us as our date changed and changed again, and hung on with us until 2022 when we finally were able to have our special day on April 9th. Just to reiterate, we booked her in SUMMER OF 2019. That is true dedication. I know many other "COVID brides" who struggled with coordinating date changes with vendors, so I am so thankful that Heather always made it work for us and kept a positive attitude about everything. As far as her actual work, Heather made us feel so comfortable both during our engagement shoot and the wedding (we are shy, nerdy people who are not comfortable in front of a camera). She is friendly, very easy to talk to, and guided us perfectly as we awkwardly walked while holding hands, stared into each others' eyes and attempted to hug like human beings. She kept family photos moving along, got all the shots we needed, and had a great vision for the whole day. The photos so exceeded my expectations, and I was over the moon when I saw the final album. You look at the contract and the agreed upon time line comes and goes and yet you are still waiting for the long awaited video and wedding pics, but have not heard from Daria. You finally do, and her response is, "I am busy with other weddings". Perhaps like me, you will think, " Well, I paid based on the timeline that Daria provided. Why can't she do provide the pics and video on the agreed upon timeline?" Then you receive the pics. Months after the agreed upon time line. - Beautiful? Yes. - Badly edited? Yes YOU have to crop out the TV in the background or crop out someone's foot. But, hey, wasn't that Daria's job? That's what you give up for her bargain price. Editing and how long you wait to actually get what you paid for. Also, if you want specific pics like parents, family, etc. make sure to tell her, as I had like 3 pics with mom. Honestly, I was not going to leave a review until just today, almost 1 1/2 years after my wedding. I referred Daria to someone. Due to COVID, her wedding was delayed. Apparently, Daria has now moved out of CA and is REFUSING to refund the deposit. Such bad business ethics! Daria lost NO work to having booked this wedding (other than COVID which EVERYONE has). Now she moves somewhere where she CANNOT do the work that she CONTRACTED for and has DECLINED to refund any money. It is one thing had the bride and groom not rescheduled the wedding & kept Daria as the photographer. On the day of the wedding, everything went very well. There were a few timing issues throughout the day that were unfortunately out of our control, but the photographers did their best to work around them and still capture as much as possible. We really appreciated their flexibility and effort. We do wish we had a little more time for certain settings and shots, but again, some of those things were simply outside of anyone's control. When we first received our wedding video, it was a bit shorter than what we expected based on our contract. However, the team was very responsive to our feedback and worked with us to create four different edits, incorporating everything we requested.
