DINE IN DURING PANDEMIC…read more One way in, one way out, mask/face shield/temp/alcohol hand wash/questionnaire mandatory when walk in. Most patrons and workers wore only masks. Staff are friendly and shout greetings as you enter. They're hardworking, efficient and you can ask any one of them for assistance. You order at the counter then they bring the food to your table. Many menu items are not available, so ask before ordering to prevent disappointment. After ordering we chose to sit at the table furthest away and most isolated from the others. There was a screen and a fan facing away from us: hubby said it was to blow the Covid germs the other direction HAHA! They have a nice, spacious dining area with comfortable seating both inside and outside. We ordered the sausage breakfast. The "toast" was very pale, next time I'll have to tell them "well done". Other than the toast, breakfast here is always a solid choice. Because of the pandemic we rarely go out, so to celebrate we had the Tiramisu Macaron and Affogato for dessert. The ice cream in the Affogato was too sweet for me to eat by itself; but it balanced perfectly when paired with the bitterness of the coffee, not bad. The macaron, on the other hand, was meh. I'm sure it would have tasted much better fresh from the bakery; but the macaron was already stale. I'm sure we'll be back when we're in the area. Just had the most perfect lazy morning breakfast at George and Onnie's (or Little Flour, whatever…read morethey're calling it now) and I'm still thinking about it hours later. Walked in around 7:30 before the mall got crazy, and the place was chill with that cozy café smell hitting you right away--fresh coffee and baked goods. Ordered the longsilog and wow, the longganisa patty was juicy and garlicky without being too greasy, paired with perfectly sunny-side-up eggs and garlic rice that was spot-on crispy. The atchara on the side cut through everything so nicely. Grabbed their signature ube pandesal French toast on the side because why not, and it was ridiculous--soft, custardy inside with that sweet ube glaze that wasn't overpowering. Coffee was strong and hot, just how I like it. Server was super attentive without hovering, refilled my water before I even asked. For the price, it felt like a steal compared to other spots in the area. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. 100% coming back tomorrow before my flight. If you're anywhere near Newport, don't sleep on this place.

All of the food was fresh and flavorful. The servers were very kind and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and could be considered on the upscale side. I can't wait to return as we had such a wonderful experience on our first visit.

This DIAMOND is located in Oasis Hotel. The vibe of the place is the select people who know about this place and come here have been coming here for years/ generations to enjoy EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE from all of the employees (especially, the very attentive waiters!), AMAZING SELECTION OF HIGH QUALITY FOOD, and the great pianist who plays in the evening to escalate your experience with music (This guy knows ALL songs! I made about 5-7 requests and he knew them all!). I recommend the FRIDAY evening buffet that starts at 6PM to people who enjoy fresh seafood such as OYSTERS, BIG PRAWNS, , and SCALLOPS! The way they're cooked is just SO GOOD! *DROOLS They are given as appetizers but after tasting them, I requested more and almost forgot about the other food such as the ROAST BEEF in the middle of the restaurant! Hahahaha If you enjoy a medium- rare cut, you'll get it here! They have this ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS RICH AND CREAMY BLACK PEPPERCORN GRAVY to put atop red meat. If they have it, opt for this instead of au jus! For deserts, there is fresh fruit such as sweet watermelon, cantaloupe, creme brulee (the sugar on top is actually caramelized because it's torched! YES!), to name a few. End your dinner with a cup of coffee. The coffee is bold and strong! LOVE IT!
