We found it while we were strolling through the city. It's right next to a bus stop, so we saw a lot of students coming and going. There is plenty of seating. I ordered a falafel combo and my husband, the kebab combo. The mix ins are ready to go. You place your order and pay first then head in line to choose whatever you want (salad, hummus, onions, hot or mild sauce, etc.) to go with your meal. It's a filling meal and the food is really fresh. These were probably the best restaurant bought falafel I've had, very crispy and not greasy. The combo also comes with a drink. I really liked the apple punch there... It's a place to go for a quick lunch, before you get back to class.

One orders and pays by the door using tablets, and then gets their food when their number is called. Note: tablet orders can be made in English or Swedish. The tablet ordering allows for serious customization (including holding default toppings and many added options), and it works pretty quickly and efficiently. They also have about 4 tablets sitting there, so there's no wait. After getting the food, drinks are self-serve from fountains. I got the fish fillet sandwich meal with fries and drink, and I added a tasty "green and garlic" dip for the fries. The food was ready within about 5 minutes and fresh/ hot. The fish had a dense yet tasty crust (see picture), though they put A LOT of tartar sauce on it. The pickles and other toppings were good. The fries were thin-cut and lightly crispy with a good flavor. Overall, a very good fast food choice on price, value, and quality.

On a recent trip to Uppsala, I stayed at a hotel very near the kiosk. When I passed it on my walk to check into the hotel, I was skeptical of the place. However, hungry and tired, I decided to stop in and see what was on the menu. When I spied "Kebab," I decided to plunge in. I can only speak for one of the dishes they serve under their Kebab offerings: Kebab Tallik. Thin slices of meat are then fried lightly on a large open metal grill. French fries are piled into my take-away container, along with crisp lettuce and a slice of tomato. A hot pepper garnishes on the side. The sliced meat, hot and juicy and tender, is piled on top of the fries. I have my choice of red sauce or white sauce; I am a sucker for the yogurt-based sauces, so I go white. The large portion is daunting. But if you do your fork technique right and skewer a cross-section of meat, fries, and vegetables, you get this fried crisp juicy burst of flavor in your mouth, topped with a semi-sweet and creamy yogurt sauce. I was not disappointed by subsequent bites. Pair this with a Coke, and you're in street food heaven. The cook and owner of the kiosk is friendly. He and I had no trouble communicating, despite my lack of knowledge of Swedish. He accommodated my English with a smile and patience, which I appreciated. Is this a sit-down meal you can savor for hours over erudite conversation? No. If you want that, go elsewhere. But, if you want tasty Kebab in the best European street-food tradition, I recommend a stop at the Johannes Grill and Kiosk.
