I cant be more happier i met Dr. Victoria Katz 6 years ago and she helped em soooo much with my autoimmune condition. Her knowledge is amazing and she is beyond great. Dr. Victoria Katz is not certified by the Rheumatology Association!!! Nor has done any Residencies. This office is one of 3 locations that Dr. Victoria Katz has. The other ones are in the 40's in Manhattan, and it seems like she primarily works out of her location in Brooklyn. I could only schedule a appointment through ZocDoc and didn't realize that apparently she is only at this Forest Hills location ONCE a month, on a Monday. During my first visit, only her Head Assistant and support/PT staff were there, they were very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. Patients seemed to come to the office throughout the week for PT or prescription refills. When I met Dr. Katz a month later to go through the bloodwork (apparently she was also away for 40 days?), she had excellent bedside manner and went through each line of my bloodwork carefully and with knowledge. Acknowledged symptoms and levels. However, during the last half of the appointment I started noticing inconsistencies: calling my rosacea a malar rash (I've been to a derm before), saying my occasional numbness as neuropathy. She checked my breathing with a stethoscope, barely touching my chest and said that I may have a slight heart murmur (may be true with my sometimes fluttery feelings? or maybe not?). She told her Assistant to type in these major diagnois' into the computer and ordered an EKG just to have a baseline. I thought, Great! they are prepared! Their EKG machine had problems turning on and the sticky sensors were old and kept falling off, nothing worked so the nurse told me to come back another day. I started noticing that their office isn't very up-to-date in machinery or even a sterile blood taking area. The LAST thing that convinced me not to go back was that Dr. recommended the drug Methotrexate in the form of an IV DRIP! To come to the office every week, and a many other 3-4 prescriptions to treat minor symptoms. Steroid cream for the face, lactic acid cream for muscles, offering all kinds of PT therapy. I really wish her knowledge and bedside manner- darling this, love that- was enough to keep me a patient, but it doesn't seem like the patient's health is the priority regarding treatment. Only prescription pushing- if I had some kind of straightforward arthritic disease, I'd say she's alright to see. I'd probably be dealing with her Assistant most of the time, who is probably capable to open her own practice, but it's not worth it when it's "up to me, whether I want to start a treatment or not." Yes I understand it's lunchtime, but the staff rushed through the rest of the appointment and the Dr. disappeared. Maybe they shouldn't overbook patients. The receptionist yells a lot, but is somehow endearingly sassy-sweet in keeping everything in line and communicating with the Brooklyn office. The last straw, when I went back to follow-up with my PCP asking about this crazy IV Drip treatment. Dr. Victoria Katz is not certified by the Rheumatology Association!!! I had two visits to the office of Dr. Katz for Arthritis in my right shoulder. I never met Dr. Katz and both times I was attended by Anna Doyban PA. At my first visit blood samples were taken and a written appointment made with the Longdon Urgent care center to take a MRI. I was reminded to return to the office today for a follow up. Apparently neither the results of the blood samples nor my visit to get the MRI were recorded. I was asked where I got the MRI and when I gave the address was reprimanded that the address was not completely correct. Eventually they found the results of the blood samples and eventually they connected with Longdon and got the MRI results sent over. The secretary just put them down and walked away and Anna Doyban said that there is nothing that can be done and I should take physical therapy. I asked whether I should get a Cortizone shot and she said yes, apparently she did not know much and did not explain. After asking about the blood samples I was told that the blood sample showed that I am Covid Neutral and an other sample was taken. I was told that only if the sample is positive I will get a call. Never in my life did I visit such as disorganized office without a physician in presence, surely secretary and confusion. I will never set foot again in that chaotic, unprofessional office.Stay away! read more

Dr.Katz is an amazing doctor! I came in to get a check up. She called me inside the room very quickly with little to no waiting time. I needed to get my blood drawn for a couple of tests and my veins are very fragile and decide to disappear. I had doctors and nurses try 8 times in clinic and labs and still couldn't get my blood. However, Dr.Katz tried two time and on the second time everything was perfect! Thank you doctor I highly recommend her. read more

WORSE DOCTOR EVER! Dr. Victoria Katz is the most unprofessional, dirty and unethical doctor I have ever encountered. First of all when I first walked into the office no one was there to greet the patients. After waiting there for 15 minutes without anyone asking me if I had an appointment - I told the nurse that I was a new patient and if she should give me any forms to fill out. Once I said that they gave me a few forms to fill out. I waited for another 15 minutes Dr. Katz called out "next patient." I walked into her office and she walked out and grabbed donuts and started stuffing her face and she wanted me to touch her DIRTY hands so she can check the pain on my hand. THE VISIT: Dr. Katz spent 15 minutes talking to me how my insurance "Oxford" only pays her $1.50 for seeing me without referral. I told her that her office told me I didn't need a referral and my insurance doesn't require me to have referral or any doctors. She kept talking about how that if she sees me without a referral she will only get paid $1.50 from Oxford. And that I had to go back to my general doctor to get a referral. And right when I was leaving she also told me that I have to pay a co-pay for this visit. DOES THIS MAKE SENSE? She told me she can't see me then charges me co-pay because she claimed she spent time with me COMPLAINING ABOUT OXFORD!! Absolutely ridiculous!!! This was not a doctor's visit! Dr. Insoo Om, another extraordinary member of the Dr. Victoria Katz team, basically defies description. He underpromises, and overdelivers. Three hour wait to see a doctor who can hardly communicate. Will no run proper test to treat person with right medication. Only wants to give immune suppressive drugs to her patients, which is sometimes not the best option. Does not pay attention to details. I will not return to see the doctor she is a waste of time and actually dangerous to your health. I'm glad we can review bad doctors who only take insurance money and do nothing for their patients. read more

If i could give DR.Victoria Katz zero stars i would i went with my fiance to her Brooklyn Office On 1664 east 14th street and not only is she disorganized, rude, and inattentive her office is very dirty i had to ask the medical assistant working for her to please put some gloves when she was ready to take my fiances blood she walked out of the exam room because she said there were no more gloves in there and came in wearing a pair of gloves that she touched dirty door knobs with and who knows what else. Then we gave them her paperwork for them to put it into their system and i asked for the folder back when they were done and specifically asked if all the paperwork was back in the folder and they assured me that it was. I got home and 7 pages were missing left in a room somewhere they weren't sure where finally the next day they found it. Mind you that we waited about 5 hours just to see the doctor we had a 12pm appointment and we left at around 7pm just for the doctor to tell us to come back the next day. She didnt take anytime to explain what was going on with my fiances health. She spent more time complaining about her fellow co-workers and saying how unprofessional they were. That made us feel even more uncomfortable. No paper toilet paper or paper to dry you hands in the bathroom. Hand sanitizer dispenser there but no working. The front desk was more interested in telling me that they were hungry and hadn't eaten rather than letting us know what test would be preformed and when. The second day we went again we waited over an hour to see the doc again and she was really rude and nasty not only that but she prescribed my fiancee with meloxican when we clearly told them that she has had bad reactions before to naproxen. I highly advise that you find another doctor to see rather than put you life in the hands of a disorganized, apathetic, careless doctor like her. We are taking back any records she has and going to a better doctor its sad that doctors like this are out there and so unprofessional. read more

Dr Katz and her staff which mostly consist of her family members is the most UNPROFESSIONAL Doctor I have ever been too besides the 3 hour wait she is incompetent she might know what she is doing but to her we aren't patients we ARE dollar signs. She will order a thousand tests and then tell you it will take 2-3 weeks for results... but the funniest thing is ALL the testing is done either in her office or other facilities owned by her. She tells her staff that there is a 15-20 minute maximum with a new patient and about 5 minutes with follow up patients ( what the heck ) you come to this doctor with a serious illness and you have a time limit ? She is always running around yelling at her staff . She is extremely rude to her staff and patients . Her daughter the office MANAGER / SUPERVISOR walks around like someone owes her something and is always in black like someone died. I wouldn't recommend this office or this doctor even if I was on my deathbed. HAZARDOUS, MONEY HUNGRY, there is so much more to say but why I think I've said enough. It's a shame doctors like this still treat patients and FOOL patients into thinking they actually mean something to this MONSTER . read more
