In the Newmarket train station courtyard is a small unimposing business, with private frosted glass and the door left slightly ajar. On an investigative whim, I had found a small health bar called Nutrition Station.
The staff their mentioned that the are a little like a secret society, relying on word of mouth about their product rather than advertising. On seeing the product was Herbalife, I was expecting a health-shake, weight-loss sermon and pyramid-scheme spiel.
Instead, I was offered an aloe cleanser, a herbal tea and meal replacement smoothie. While sipping these they offer a Wellness Profile, a basic check-up you can get on a daily basis. Although they don't offer a takeaway version of all three drinks, it is a nice way for a quick check-up and healthy boost for busy city employees. read more
