    Outside pool and rooms

I have been going to this gem for 5 years now. There is no other place like it. Peaceful, private, rejuvenating. Pure mineral water, no chlorine, extremely clean and therapeutic. There a just a few rooms(7or 9) so it's never crowded. The owners are very caring and always accommodating.

The warmer inside pool. We came up during the rain, so this was quite nice.

Very welcoming atmosphere. Makes you feel relaxed from the beginning. A great first time experience. Everything was clean, and the owners/staff were very friendly. We went through the week and had the place to ourselves. Nice selection of healthy choices for breakfast. Could have stayed longer, and will definitely come back.

Five stars for the chill factor and for Sandy, the owner of the property. This quaint 7 room hot springs is simple, chill and relaxing. Don't come here expecting a 5 star resort of some sort. Come with an open mind and open heart. I'm not sure about all the other rooms, but Room 6 came with a patio seating area, a kitchen equipped with pans, and dish sets. Again, don't expect fancy China. Also, a small table for two. It's basically a small bachelorette pad ;). Also, in the room is a retro sofa and queen size bed that's very comfy. The mineral water inside is very hot and soft. You don't leave itchy or feeling dirty. The outside pool was a bit too cold for the cool weather. It's a zen weekend for me!

Don't let the 3 stars scare you away. Although this place has seen better years, and it is in need of tender loving care, it is an affordable option. The water is nice and hot in the inside pool and amazingly cool for an outside pool in the middle of a hot desert summer. It is super quiet here. The noisiest thing would be the wall shaker air conditioning in our room. There are only 7 units so it is a small property. There were two other couples here enjoying this peaceful getaway. I'd come back here for the water but for me I'd rather pay more and get a really nice room.

Another home away from home, but with spa! This place is never crowded with just 7 rooms on the property. We usually have the pool to ourselves or just with another couple. The pool is a step away from your room and kept in just right temperature. Their bed is very comfortable and room is simple and clean. As Vy N's review says from two years ago there is still no TV, clock, no phones in the room. So there is not much to do except relax, soak, and relax again. Their atmosphere allows you to do just that.

This place is magic .the rooms are comfortable and the space is naturally silent and calm . The pool of natural spring water is my favorite feature and the operators friendly and accommodating

Diamond in the rough. We loved this little spa. We wanted something quiet and off the beaten path, without fluff. This is a very sweet small, quiet, clean spa. Lovingly taken care of by Sandy, Ram, and Reishi. Kind, considerate, and thoughtful. Not the Hilton, or Days Inn, but exactly what we wanted, something with love and heart. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms simple and clean.

We had parked in the back of the parking and lot and walked into the lobby area. We decided to pay for their day pass to everything at the spa, minus the massages and facials. The day pass was roughly $75 which gave us access to their mineral pools, main pool, and reflexology pool. As part of our day pass, we also had been given a locker that had a robe and slippers inside. You get charged an extra fee if you do not return these items. It was a hot weekend in Indio, but being in the hot water made it feel extreme! I was also to try their small mineral pools, bigger pool, and their reflexology walk - the walk was my favorite! My rating stems from the lack of service while we were here. Yes, the waters are great, but the service was subpar. The girls and I were there for about five hours, but were not asked about drinks or snacks once. There was a lady walking around giving beverages and taking orders from other guests, except us. It was saddening that they didn't come up to us, so we did leave earlier than expected. This was a unique experience, and it's quite decent if it's your first time. I don't think I'd come back for a second time.

My friend and I were beyond happy with the beautiful and quiet setting. We enjoyed a superbly private stay, as it's off season. Most people come to stay when the weather is cooler. There are three mineral water pools, one in an open sided, Beautifully constructed, covered patio. One wall was river rock. Another wall was tiled seating that was cool and comfortable to sit on. I thoroughly enjoyed the sauna the morning we left, before breakfast. Sweating for 30" is relaxing if you haven't tried it yet. Breakfast options included Avocado, tomato, hard boiled eggs, bagels, croissants, fresh cooked waffles, cold, cereal, yogurt, half-and-half, cream cheese, coffee, tea, and I'm sure more I did not note. We breakfasted I'm a lovely little patio, surrounded by birds and plants. A neighbor cat visited but did not engage. There are daybeds along the pool and a few under the trees in the patio in between the row of rooms. I believe there were a total of 14 rooms. Each room has cool tiled floors and a a fresh king bed. Ours had a lovely bathtub with the hottest shower I think I've ever had. There are imported Italian soap, shampoo, and conditioner (that left my hair looking very pretty). There were two wonderful robes in the boudoir. I wore mine too and fro as I am born to spa and was in seventh heaven. Our room opened up onto a large patio balcony from which we watched the sunrise and the sunset over the valley in front of us. The amenities are open 24 hours. The owner, Mrs C is hospitable and engaging. She has Italian soaps and such for you to purchase, as well as soda pop and wine. Time and money went into planning this spa. The quality imported furniture and tile, the red padded patio furniture. Fountains, outdoor gas fireplaces, everywhere one looks is loving details. And... nobody under 21 allowed

First of all the owner's name is Camillia and she is actually the person working the desk. She has a great deal of pride in her beautiful boutique hotel and she wants all of her guests to have the best possible experience. Her personal touch is definitely felt. The property is absolutely beautiful and well cared for. A big plus is that the jacuzzis and pool are open 24 hours. They have a semi-indoor hot spring jacuzzi that is very large and has a really nice ambiance (especially at night) with the lanterns on the wall. They also have another hot spring jacuzzi outdoors by the pool and it is amazing to soak in this jacuzzi and watch the sun set over the mountains across the valley - Truly a million dollar view! Their pool is luke-warm and so nice to take a dip after soaking in the jacuzzis. And if you plan on spending the day on their pool deck they have lots of nice cushioned pool lounge chairs and 5 outdoor beds. There are also tables you can sit at and have a meal or play games, etc. Our room was very comfortable and luxurious. I love the dark wood, heavy curtains and Italian tile! The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. Tip: they have a couple of rooms that have private outdoor patios overlooking the valley and mountains but they don't offer these rooms on Priceline, Expedia or other travel service. Camellia said they only book these rooms directly from the hotel website or by calling. They also have a nice area for massages & treatments. We didn't get any treatments but I believe they have independent massage therapists come in when you book treatment. But it is a really nice spa / treatment area that rivals some of the best spas I've been to.

This place is a small boutique hotel (12 rooms) and each room is individually decorated in a wonderful and unique Moroccan style - most of the things here were actually brought here from Morocco, and it truly adds to a very classy, comfortable and chill atmosphere every square inch of the grounds. There is so much colorful flowing fabric which lends to a wonderful atmosphere. One of the big appeals to staying here is, of course the natural hot spring fed pool & hot tub. Soaking in this wonderful mineral water really grounds & relaxes you - and theirs are open 24 hours a day! They also have a light breakfast where you can choose 2 different items such as various flavors of yogurt, bagels with toppings like cream cheese, onions, avocado, etc. You just have to turn in your request the night before and the breakfast is available at 9am. They have multiple French presses loaded with coffee ready to go around the clock - just add water. The coffee is okay but it used to be Starbucks back in the day - wish they had better coffee. They also have 2 large glass dispensers, one with their great mineral water out of the tap, and the second with Moroccan mint lemonade which was wonderful. They have a garden area where their spa treatments are given and in that area they have a life-size chess set, hammock and many comfortable chairs to relax & enjoy the weather. The room had a lovely vibe. Again, each of these rooms are individually decorated with things actually from Morocco. They give you the means to have beautiful lower lighting at night or you can take the brighter route. But after relaxing in the mineral jacuzzi we posted for the more chill lower lighting and it was really nice. The rooms also are climate controlled with individual units controlled with a remote control. They have done a good job creating a nice oasis that transports you to a wonderful place and is so relaxing. Highly recommend El Morocco Inn & Spa! Moroccan mint tea

This is truly a repurposed motel and it looks the part. They tried making it look better with fresh paint, but it still looks and feels sketchy and outdated. We stayed here for Father's Day weekend, in room 229, which is a "Mountain View"/Balcony room. Although the view is mainly of the property's solar panels, a dirty empty lot, an RV park, and some mountains, at the distance. The "nicer" mountain view is facing the entrance. We Had been meaning to stay here for years, but we can never get the soleil suite and we still didn't manage to get it. I have really mixed feelings about this place, part of me still wants to try the soleil suite, but I was so disappointed in this "hotel" that I believe it to be a one and done for us. However, if you're on a budget and want something slightly better than a motel 6 then this is the place for you. Pool area: Has 1 average pool, 1 outdoor hot tub, and 1 enclosed hot tub. They also offer massage services, which we did not use. Pros: *Free parking * 12pm check out *Pool area is cleaner and well maintained *On site restaurant (did not try it) *Across the street from a grocery outlet * Enclosed hot tub (a plus because it gets very windy here) * In-room mini fridge * numerous lounge chairs around the property Cons: * It does not feel like a Spa hotel, it's more motel than hotel * The property shows it's age *Dirty and dingy sofa & carpet, would not walk barefoot in here *Dirty shower floor, wore sandals to shower *No tub, only shower with a shower curtain that is not long enough so even if you point the shower head towards the wall, it makes a wet mess outside the shower area * I doubt the pool/hot tubs are mineral water and if they are then most likely any mineral benefits are gone because they were excessively chlorinated * Not enough amenities to make it a legit spa hotel. They have a fairly sized empty area next to the pool area where they could add a sauna, cold plunge pool, and/or maybe a Korean herbal tea pool to help upgrade the space a bit more *No hydration stations. Most spa hotels will have free infused water and herbal tea stations in the lobby or near/around the pool areas to encourage guests to hydrate since the heat and hot tubs can cause dehydration, but bot here. So take your own water. * The neighborhood that this "hotel" is located in does not feel like the safest, lots of police activity, day and night. * Hot water ran out while showering, twice. Happened to me one day and then my partner the next day * Very small and dirty elevator * No in-room microwave * Beds are very uncomfortable, mattress is either super soft or very old because it just sunk while trying to lay on it. Horrible *It's on a main street so you can hear the traffic noise and especially all the sirens from first responders, which I did notice a lot of siren activity * We had 2 power outages and although brief, there's never a good time for a power outage in 102 temperature. * The room was suffocatingly stuffy, which made it miserable to sleep in, even with AC on and they have a sign that tells you not to lower it below 70F. The AC is LOUD *Pool towels are not readily available in the pool area, you have to go to the front office and ask for towels and you only get one per person and if you want a fresh towel you have to swap them out. And the pool towels are small. Luckily I took a set of large beach towels with us, from home. Side note: don't forget your towel clips or bands because it is VERY windy here and if you leave your towels on the lounge chairs the wind will take them. Witnessed a few towels end up in the pool.
