The two gentlemen that worked there starting unrolling carpet after carpet for me as soon as I found the first carpet that I liked. They were very helpful in explaining the carpets of different regions, and they were very patient with me while I was looking over each of them in detail. I felt they were a little pricy but the other carpet shops in the alley are too. I recommend checking this place out if you are looking for the ghazni carpets in different sizes.

This is a very small corner shop with a very nice selection of handmade wooden boxes, puzzle boxes,…read moretrays, etc. It's tucked right in the middle of the shops in Old Adana so be on the lookout for it. The owner was very friendly and was willing to move and pull out every single box that we wanted to look at even if they were at the bottom of a tall stack. The prices were very reasonable compared to the Alley and other locations that we went to.

He is very friendly and accommodating, but after a while I got the feeling he could be very pushy on his sales. I cut my trip short and bought what I came for. I had to come back another time to look and purchase a couple of lamps for a friend to ship back to the states. He helped me find the lamps and boxed/wrapped them nicely to ship. His prices are reasonable for the alley, but I know you can find handmade, authentic Turkish lamps for a much more reasonable price in other regions. He has to order his lamps and it usually takes around a week to receive the order. My first evil eye lamp I bought was made of very thin glass. I ended up returning it for a smaller evil eye lamp that was made with much thicker glass. Fuat took back my previous lamp and exchanged it outright...no questions asked! His shop also had other gift items...wine glass/decanter sets, knives, other misc small gift options. Stop by and check it out...you might find a neat treasure you haven't found yet.

I have been in this store a few times but just to look around and check things out. I always like coming in here to check out the household items just like Home Depot or Lowe's. You can look at kitchen appliances, tile, lighting, etc. I think it's neat to compare how we build certain household areas compared to Turkish families. Plus, they have some really neat gadgets that I don't recall seeing before. Being inside the mall I don't thing they have as much to offer as a set alone store, but don't be discouraged by it's options. It's plentiful and packed.

They have quality crystal serveware, silverware, tea sets, and even hookahs. A friend of mine bought a really nice crystal base hookah from here, even came with a snazzy storage case. He even monogrammed his name inside the jackets. I am planning on having a couple of dresses made before we leave. My only downfall is the location. Bring located with walking distance of the front gate is great, but being in the ally is annoying at the same time. Being constantly haggled to come look into every Turkish store is annoying after the first maybe second visit give or take. My advice...run into the store as quick as you can before you walk away buying more than you planned. :-)

I was looking for a particular wall set with a picture of the mosque, medal plate of dates served, and an evil eye to show the top items that represent this particular region. I was pleased to find this under $50. You cannot find a large framed piece with details for a price like that in the states. Among what I was looking for, they had other framed pieces that you can choose from. Also, you can bring your own material to have framed. I haven't brought anything, but I have heard they are very reasonable in prices and do a great job.

I went in looking for a particular brand of shoe with no luck. The employees were friendly and willing to help immediately. I do like the location being close to food and coffee shops.
