I love this place! We were invited to a carpet party at this particular location. We had a…read moredelicious meal from Royal's and drinks. Once we were ready to continue, the owner proceeded to go into detail on how to tell the difference between all of the different qualities of rugs from this region. We bought a large living room rug as well as a set of three for our entry way. We spent well over an hour trying to find the "perfect" rugs. =) When we laid the entry way rugs out in our home we realized that the two smaller rugs were torn. We forgot to take back the two rugs after a month, but the owner took both rugs back without any questions and exchanged them immediately. He reminded us again that at anytime we can exchange or return our rugs, and get our money back guaranteed! Plus, they will pick them up and deliver them whenever we want to have them cleaned. I cannot wait to visit again and buy more!

Along with a history in carpet making and types of material and dyes. Every visit to his shop taught me many facts about judging the quality of a carpet and gave me an insight into how these carpets are painstakingly made. His Iranian silk carpets collections are top of the line and my true weakness as they are truly a work of art in a dying craft. His shop also has an extensive collection of machine made carpets from the economical thin summer carpets to the also economical thick luxurious carpets with beautiful patterns that are made to last and take the hard wear and tear that kids and pets give them. Stop in to this store and admire his collection and learn something about this incredible art form, you will get no pressure from him to buy anything, he just truly enjoys people and sharing his love of these beautiful carpets. This is a very small corner shop with a very nice selection of handmade wooden boxes, puzzle boxes,…read moretrays, etc. It's tucked right in the middle of the shops in Old Adana so be on the lookout for it. The owner was very friendly and was willing to move and pull out every single box that we wanted to look at even if they were at the bottom of a tall stack. The prices were very reasonable compared to the Alley and other locations that we went to.

This is an awesome place to find just about anything for your home. Imagine...a Turkish Home Depot…read more Even the sign is orange and the employees wear orange aprons!!! =) You can find garden items, household items, kitchen items, etc. We were looking for my husband a new ironing board. I have been in this store a few times but just to look around and check things out. I always like coming in here to check out the household items just like Home Depot or Lowe's. You can look at kitchen appliances, tile, lighting, etc. I think it's neat to compare how we build certain household areas compared to Turkish families. Plus, they have some really neat gadgets that I don't recall seeing before. Being inside the mall I don't thing they have as much to offer as a set alone store, but don't be discouraged by it's options. It's plentiful and packed.

He is very friendly and accommodating, but after a while I got the feeling he could be very pushy on his sales. I cut my trip short and bought what I came for. I had to come back another time to look and purchase a couple of lamps for a friend to ship back to the states. He helped me find the lamps and boxed/wrapped them nicely to ship. His prices are reasonable for the alley, but I know you can find handmade, authentic Turkish lamps for a much more reasonable price in other regions. He has to order his lamps and it usually takes around a week to receive the order. My first evil eye lamp I bought was made of very thin glass. I ended up returning it for a smaller evil eye lamp that was made with much thicker glass. Fuat took back my previous lamp and exchanged it outright...no questions asked! His shop also had other gift items...wine glass/decanter sets, knives, other misc small gift options. Stop by and check it out...you might find a neat treasure you haven't found yet.

My husband has had three suits made here. They look fantastic! All the suits have included pants,…read morevest, shirt, jacket, tie, and handkerchief...very reasonably priced. He even monogrammed his name inside the jackets. I am planning on having a couple of dresses made before we leave. My only downfall is the location. Bring located with walking distance of the front gate is great, but being in the ally is annoying at the same time. Being constantly haggled to come look into every Turkish store is annoying after the first maybe second visit give or take. My advice...run into the store as quick as you can before you walk away buying more than you planned. :-)
