Then a Turkish waiter came and stood very close to me and started asking if I need help. I told him that I don't need help and asked him to please stop this hard selling. He said he came to assist me if I have any questions about the menu. I told him again please stop this hard selling as it is a turn off. Then he started arguing and stopped in front of the menu and told me to go away. I told him you're a moron and started walking away. I heard him say you're a moron too. Then I continued walking away from the restaurant. Then he came running behind me then he cursed me. So I turned towards him and punched him into his upper chest. Then he punched me with a strong fist into my face and my nose started bleeding very heavily. Local folks from the neighboring restaurants started assisting me, gave me lots of napkins, and ice to help stop my bleeding. While I'm thankful to the neighboring restaurants, this is a memory that I'll take with me that will last forever. I attached a picture of my face 12 hours after the incident showing the swelling under my eye. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. A restaurant that employs such a person is not worth your money.

You have to order the blackberry tea. It's so unique and I've never seen this flavor in a tea before, so I wanted to try it. I always aim to order something that I cannot find elsewhere or that is a specialty of the business or city. This is definitely a must visit if you are visiting in Istanbul. Old town is overall a beautiful area, and you can't leave without visiting the Grand Bazaar.
