Kind of stupid idea and an even more stupid name. They are trying to be something they're not over here, and the price tag is a bit outrageous. The thing that really bothers me is that they are cooking/grilling/frying stuff inside but there's no ventilation, so the whole place is a bit smokey. Also the atmosphere is stressful, what with aristocratic types letting their children scream and run wild. Lots of noise, lots of commotion. Won't be back. read more

Very poorly managed steak and fish restaurant. Orders took upwards of 40 minutes to arrive on a not so busy Wednesday night. Ordered medium steak, received almost blue... When I asked for the steak to be cooked to medium, the staff, including the manager, insisted that "that's how they cook steak to medium". After several rounds of arguments, I ended up canceling the order as I was not sure what I would have received back from the kitchen. A very unfortunate and reoccurring pushback at restaurants in Turkey: The staff defends their indefensible food/service as a knee jerk reaction, probably because many customers try and get extras through complaints. You'd think Eataly would be a cut above, but they make sure you get a taste of the local attitude. read more

Unique concept in the heart of the city! Anything from everything that you will want or miss from ITALY! Market section is little pricey but the variety and quality is top notch! Fresh pasta and mozzarella safe my favorite. Restaurant section has big variety of foods to choice from. They split the pasta & pizza section and meat section. First of all the view is amazing from the Meat and Fish lounge. We have tried fish and meat in the same table with friends and we dont like it a bit. The meat is normal usual meat. Nothing different and it seemed like no taste at all. Fish risotto wasnt ideal for that money as well. For food : 1 stars for service : 1 star and for view 2: star. Totally : 4 stars. read more

İ was there with my very picky about food İtalian friend and he was satisfied. That means a lot. For İtalian chain what surprised me was separate fridges for pork and turkish çay serving with tiramisu, but well, we are in Turkey. Quality of food is perfect, pizza amazing, pasta sometimes not so much al dente but acceptable, tiramisu is just amazing, reminded me one from famous Pompi in Rome. read more

It has been years since first opening, but menu is still the same. A couple of pasta, pizza and that's it. The hosting is probably better in afghanistan, the only thing hasn't changed and still ok, is the outside setting. But you must catch a calm weather. Not recomended for no one read more

Best Eataly that I have seen compared to NY and Boston. Fantastic Bosphorus view is enough by itself. Much larger and more comfortable than the ones in the US. Food is good, you can buy groceries as well. read more

Amazing sandwiches, the bread is incredibly fresh and tasty. I think the wine selection could've been wider and more sophisticated. Do not order venezia merlot, their vinegar tastes better than this wine. read more

Eataly has a nice location on two floors of Zorlu centre with a great view. It's a combination of stylish food store and a cafe/restaurant, so rather interesting. When you are coming for the first time make it clear to the waiter which area of the restaurant and which food you are after. As if you are after pizza they won't serve it in the fish "lounge". Restaurant is rather big with many tables inside and outside and divided into a few zones: seafood and meat, pizza and pasta etc. We weren't aware of such division and ended up in the "fish and meat" area. The food was good, very fresh and nicely cooked. Loved the mixed fried seafood and stuffed tomato appetiser. Everything was presented well. Re the minuses - we weren't impressed with laminated menus and the service. The waiter forgot that we ordered sparkling water so had to ask twice. He brought a wrong wine as well and later wasn't checking if our glasses need to be filled. Tiramisu dessert was one of the best I've ever tasted and Turkish coffee was delicious (not too strong, not too weak, just right). I give this place 3 stars for its food and view. They do need to pick up the service. read more
