The restaurant is right on a busy corner so there were a lot of people watching available. I was greeted quicker than I had anticipated, I had requested a soda. I had a hard time deciding what to order since the restaurant offers a large selection of Italian food. I finally decided on the Spaghetti Carbonara. I will say, the pizza did look amazing (took a peek from a nearby table). It was great relaxing at the table watching the world go by. When the meal was delivered, I was not disappointed. The dish was well seasoned, the pasta was fresh, just a great meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the great service, meal and the view. Enjoy

The dish was decent and made for a nice light meal or snack. The French fries were actually the highlight for me. They were perfectly cooked, not over-fried, with a light crisp on the outside while staying soft and fluffy on the inside. You could really taste the potato, which made them surprisingly satisfying. The service was good, and the ambiance was warm and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside and taking advantage of the beautiful weather while having our meal. :)

Anyways, I sat down and ordered their bucket of mussels with cream and paella with seafood and chicken. The food arrived within 10 minutes or so. My first impression of the bucket of mussels was just wow. There is a lot. I tried one and these are by far the best mussels I've ever had in my life. They were fresh and smooth, along with a amazing mussel taste. Texture and quality were on another level compared to ones I had near newport beach in California. I lost count of how many mussels I had after 40. It came with a side of fries as well. For its price this was an absolute steal. The paella was also my first time trying one. I ordered it based on the picture I saw on their front door and it was also delicious. The chicken was juicy, the mussels were just as fresh as the ones in the bucket. The addition of lemon juice to the rice gave it a nice tingy taste. The squid and shrimp were tiny compared to the picture but still delicious. Overall, I had underestimated this place. My bill also only added up to 33 euros too, which for its price was way better than anything else I've had in Europe. If I am ever back in this city, I will be coming back to this place for some more.

Specializing in "Italian street food," I was initially intrigued by their photos on Google, and of course of a fried pizza. We don't usually get down too much on Italian food, so this was a little something different for us. First thing I have to comment on is the service. The woman who helped us was incredibly nice and welcoming. It was a very comfortable experience. We order a Sweet Winter pizza fritte, which had a delicious truffle sauce and pumpkin; a Mr. Pink Schiacciate, which is a focaccia sandwich with porchetta, red cabbage, and mayonnaise, which I thought it could have used a bit more sauce, or mayonnaise, or something, but it was still good; and lastly an order of Panza-Bomba, a fried mozzarella cheese ball bomb. They also had some nice drinks. My wife got a delicious elderflower lemonade, and I had a sour beer from Beerstorming. We would definitely come back. Nice place, good snacky type food. Would recommend.

Turkish (Italian-ish) eatery in the heart of the Turkish area of Brussels…read more Far from fancy - in fact, akin to a typical western pizzeria. They bring complimentary bread and dips when you are first sat, and the bread is actually excellent. Great texture and flavor. The dips are solid (although still trying to understand the "love of" mayonnaise-based anything here, there, anywhere in the world). Had their version of "white pizza", which was really good. Excellent flavor, and near-perfect texture. The village/peasant style salad was also very good. And, of course, the made-to-order fries were dope. Next time I'm in Brussels, I'll definitely return - and, I'll even see if I can scope out Turkish eateries here in California, to compare and contrast. Ahhhhhh, all that I do for my love of borderless cuisine.
