After one pizza place was too full, another was too empty, and another was closed, landed here (a Tripadvisor recommendation).
The pizzas are very good (I'm super demanding about pizza, and these are close to an 8 out of a possible 10). The one they brought me by mistake was a sumptuous morass of harmonious ingredients; I got a few bites out of it and I kind of wished I'd kept that one! Then they swapped it for what I ordered, which was delicious by not quite as decadently rich (see pictures). The house red was a touch sweet and light. The waitperson was easygoing and kind.
Eating at the street tables has the advantage of hearing music and the murmurs of strollers from Viale XX Settembre, though the surrounding buildings are drab and the lighting a bit hoary yellowish outside. Interior looked really nice for visits on colder days.
Overall: quality product, satisfying experience. read more
