Restaurant goers should note that the promotion requires a series of orders from each guest in the party. We were ready to order several dishes but were not able since the kitchen abruptly closed halfway through our meal. We were not notified after being seated nor were our menus taken as any indication that the food service had ended. It would be helpful if your website and your internet listings page had the correct hours of operation or if the waitstaff would inform the guest that the kitchen will be closing soon. At the very least, you could take the menus away if ordering is not possible. That being said, the prawn risotto sure looks great...but I guess we will never know.

We did not eat here because we stupidly grabbed food at a terrible place nearby, but I wish he had saved room to try stuff. This place is like a vertical food court. There's a wine area, a coffee area, a burger counter, a tapas section, an Asian fusion section and more. You can take your food anywhere in the building. There are comfy couches and chairs all over. On the top floor, there's a patio where people are smoking. (When we visited, they had some plastic sheeting stuff blocking the open air. Not much of a view to be had anyway.) We grabbed a couple glasses of wine and made ourselves comfortable on the couch. They sell tempranillo here - it's a wine you rarely find, but it's awesome. As is the custom in most of Europe, the wine was really cheap. Mercado de San Agustin is a modern marvel in a very old town. Walk inside, grab a bite, drink some wine and feel like you just fast-forwarded several centuries. Bonus: Free wi-fi without a password.

We ordered drinks. I tried their sangria which was very good. We ordered two of their famous bombas. A potato fried on the outside and hollowed out and filled with spicy meat and potato. It was excellent. I called it a Spanish sloppy Joe! Once we finished those it was past seven so we ordered the grill pork ribs which were meaty and good. The prices were reasonable and our server was really hustling. By the time we left around 8pm there was a line formed waiting for a table. At that point the service did seem to be getting chaotic...

The best thing about this restaurant is it's open all day, not just for lunch then dinner. Five of us came for a late lunch. Immediately they were able to seat us. Knowing that we were not locals and the fact that this is a tourist town, the wait staff not only spoke English but was very kind too. We ordered a smorgasbord of food. From the cancamusa to the pasta and beyond to two pitchers of sangria, all of it was good and reasonable priced. This is a perfect spot to bring relatives who are visiting and want to experience Spanish food, especially food from Toledo. Enjoy.

Incredible 12€ per person for a 3-course meal and beverage! Our tour guide mentioned these deals are common throughout Spain, especially in the 1pm to 4pm time frame. I ordered the melon and jamon for appetizer - incredibly sweet (and quite large) melon slices and nice salty ham. It tasted somewhat like a honeydew-cantaloupe hybrid. My wife got the paella - not bad for the price. Mussels didn't seem fresh but they had other goodies like squid and clams. For that price, it's a steal! For entrees we both ordered the pork carcamusas, which is a local Toledo specialty. Its basically a hearty braised pork and sausage stew that would have gone well over steamed rice! Like a mild chili with large chunks of meat. It came with fries that were very crispy and not oily. For desserts I got the apple tart while the wife got the flan. Both were good but the flan is the winner here -it was topped with a darker caramel sauce, almost fudge-like in nature. Overall an excellent restaurant in Toledo with great service. Probably one of our best meals in terms of quality:price ratio.

We seated ourselves in the bar portion of the restaurant - note that the menu and prices are different if you sit down at one of the tables.
