They are horrible . I wouldnt trust them. Look at the reviews from their properties walden ( Elden Ponds) . Horrible maintenance. They use old used parts from other apartments left over, rusty n.g and will install then under your sink or toilet to try and fix the problem. They are definately backwards by our standards. They are Macedonians . Horrible. Goat eaters. Nasty as well. People I spoke to had mice comming through open vents and coming through walls from openings in the back of cabinetry and ovens and they dont consider that an emergency. U will wait a month until their maintenance exterminater comes by , if he does?? There is no confirmation what so ever on a matter like this. They say its a non emergency. For a 55 and up complex. Backward to say the least. They are probabley used to living in this type od sh-t. They could be nasty with their approach, they should be very careful they dont loose teeth. They are nasty. Just be careful when renting from these loosers. There are plenty of other places that take care of their residence. They actually care and provide ggod maintence in a humble and caring way. Stay away from these people name cassata. You will be dissapointed and insulted. There are plenty of other place you will do fine with that respnd and help their residence . We have lived here for 5 months and i cannot wait for the lease to end. Since day 1 this place has been a disaster. Move in day - we had no power or water. They were doing construction right outside our door so it made it extremely difficult to move in. There was garbage everywhere and constant banging and drilling from 7am until 5pm. Horrible start. As for the interior, other than no power or water, our "newly renovated" apartment came with a broken shower door, light fixture hanging out from the ceiling - and still is. There is also visible wires hanging out of the ceiling. Told maintenance, responded with "yeah". Place is constantly infested with bugs. Spiders, ear wigs, crickets, fly's. The place smells like cigarettes (we don't even smoke). Electronic lock broke about a month into living there - maintenance cut it off my door at 11pm at night - left me with a hole in my door with NO lock over night.. As for parking..... assigned spot is all the way by Unit 4, while i am in unit 7. Had my car towed (twice) because i parked in the "fire zone" , even though, maintenance told us it was ok to do (which i soon found out is not even a REAL nor LEGAL fire zone anyway) and they had my car towed so that a CONTRACTOR could park where i was. I then had to get a ride to RONKONKOMA to pick up my car. A week later, NU Horizon had the nerve to have a contractor park in my assigned spot this time, leaving me with nowhere to go. The place is completely ridiculous. Also, the towing signs are no where to be found unless you check behind a bush or a dumpster. The signs also have not been updated so the prices are inaccurate and the descriptions are as well. The "Club house" which contains the few (if any)amenities of the complex, has not been opened since before i moved in, which includes a gym... which i was looking foward to using - is "closed until further notice" - for no reason. Anytime I inquire about the gym re opening, I am ignored. This place is horrendous and i would never of moved in if i knew all of this before. Do not recommend living here. I apply for an apartment there, I paid a deposit, I received a letter from them, they denied me and they refuse to give me back my deposit, this is unheard of. People should never rent from this organization, they are unprofessional, they don't know what they're doing. As an organization, they don't even have an office working number, I should have checked the reviews before I even send my application there. let me start off by saying DO NOT RENT HERE !! What a freaking nightmare. Me and my husband thought we were moving in to a great newly renovated apartment and it was the total opposite. The washing machine and dryer in the apartment are NOT new do not let them fool you! it's literally a piece of crap that will damage your clothes. The stove is not new and the dishwasher literally smelled and not new smell like mold. The shower head in the bathroom is weak and it sucks. We had a huge flood from the toilet and they had the nerve to say it was our fault that cause the entire complex to flood they said there was tampons thrown in there. i'm 9 months pregnant never once i have used tampons nor did we ever have visitors. it smelled like cigarettes the ENTIRE TIME we lived there. We complained and they said no one smoked there before but the family members that did show up always smelled. Next door neighbor i'm sure was a drug dealer always had people waiting in cars for him to come out for him so sketch. The clubhouse stuff they offer haha is A JOKE !!! the laundry was always broken and once when we did visit it like it was disgusting !!! management is a FREAKING JOKE ! lol like i can't help but laugh because these people truly suck. anytime we needed to speak to them they would NEVER ANSWER. Jennifer STAY AWAY FROM HER. that lady sold us the apartment and then is unreachable like legit it's a joke !! we needed someone to come for inspection before we left no one ever showed and then we were supposed to leave them the keys we couldn't even do that. I emailed Jennifer to ask what to do and no answer back so clearly they do not care. When they were remolding next door apartment they were destroying ours cracks all in the wall it was so bad. There was always black fiber dust and mold stuff. I mean it do NOT MOVE HERE. fyi all the people we spoke to that lived there said the apartment complex is old and dirty. even the maintenance people that we did encounter if you're ever get in contact with them said the apartments are put together with duct tape. maintenance is a joke as well !! i'm sooooo glad we left. didn't last the full 12 months we were willing to leave the security deposit and leave at 11 months because OMG i could not stand those people and that place. We lived here for almost 2.5 years. The management and maintenance of this facility are absolutely atrocious. The leasing officer Jennifer is rude, unreliable and unprofessional. She does follow through with anything she says she will. There is also never anyone at the office to answer question or take complaints. They are based out of Victoria Gardens and I called consistently for a week and there was never anyone from leasing or management we could speak to. We tried to break out lease early and they made the process unnecessarily difficult and stressful. We are going on almost three weeks of trying to get in contact with someone to resolve this issue. I would never recommend anyone live here or rent from this organization. They are disorganized, unprofessional and unreliable. I hate giving bad reviews but the stress we have endured while dealing with this company needs to be communicated with anyone looking to rent from them. read more

If you choose this apartment complex, be prepared to be frustrated and get evasive answers from the leasing manager. If asking about security deposits and costs related to living here, the leasing manager will not be up front with the costs. The rent goes up about $250 to $600 for a one bedroom apartment. Even after putting down two months security deposit, that will go up too and they will require you put more money in the security deposit. If asking how much, the property manager will tell you to sign first and then later they will decide how much you should pay (because knowing the costs of things so you can budget does not make sense to them). When I moved in, there was a big ant infestation issue so bad there were dead ant bodies floating in my iron, all over my clothes, in the pantry, and in areas with plumbing. I had to throw out a lot of things because of it. I also had to store anything open in the fridge after pouring cereal in a bowl of milk. There were so many ants in my box of cereal and I had to go through the pantry and throw out tons of food. Also be prepared to be on hold forever when putting a maintenance request because no one answers that line. If you call the main office which is located somewhere else, they will evade your call. Just go to the office and talk to someone face to face instead. There is no office onsite by the way. Parking is also an issue even when there are assigned parking spots. Just because a spot is assigned doesn't mean that will stop your neighbors from parking in your spot. When forcing the issue, be prepared to be cursed out by your neighbor for it (yes! this actually happened). Fire alarms are sensitive and go off randomly--sometimes several times in the middle of the night for no reason. I had to remove the battery from one of them because I knew maintenance never answers the phone. The next day someone came over and said I could be fined for touching the fire alarm. There are laundry facilities onsite. The card requires a $5.00 deposit and then you can load it with additional money to launder your clothes. There are several laundry facilities that are cheaper. Just a note, other places are more expensive on the front end while this place is expensive on the back end. They also require you get rental insurance for $300,000. My insurance company asked if this was a luxury apartment because that requirement was not normal. read more

worst management company on long island . they put a new face on apts that are roach infested as well as bed bugs and mice. owners are nasty and the office staff is rude. emergency maintence and work orders are never taken care of in a timley manner They do not have enough help .
