I have called him for a refill for asthma medication when I was out of town. And he got that message. So I get it. He need his staff to be an above average communicator to contribute his continued excellence! His expectations of what he needs from his staff determines how his patients are treated. He routinely has me do bloodwork so he can make sure my medications are on target. And once he had concerns and had some additional tests done that my primary doctors didn't even catch and we found out I had a pituitary tumor! He referred me to an endocrinologist and I was able to get treatment that otherwise would have been missed! I feel he has save my life!
