Firstly, I was given a time slot which was fully adhered to, aided by telephone messages giving me the latest update on the ETA. When the freezer arrived , it had to be carried up a difficult flight of steps, manoeuvred around tight corners of my lodge, unwrapped and slid into a tight position. Prior to the positioning of the machine, it had to be plugged and plumbed in and a filter attached. All this was done with courtesy and in good humour. Thank you! The staff here really are fantastic - professional, attentive and really really knowledgeable. I thought John Lewis was pretty good at this sort of thing, but Purewell are brilliant. As you may already have gathered though, what they're not so good at is competitive pricing. Sure, their prices stack up pretty well against other retailers in the immediate area, but I'm afraid I'm not prepared to pay considerably over the odds even if it does mean I leave this place feeling ever so slightly guilty every time I go there. That's not to say I haven't ever bought anything here, but money doesn't grow on trees and for major purchases I know I can do better elsewhere.

Another white goods store where a good deal can be had, and their after sales service is good…read more Unlike Curry's they don't push you to have the next grade up, but will give a lot of information about the product you like, and other similar ones. I prefer this, because then you feel in control of the money you are spending and it's much easier to stay within a budget. I'd always recommend them.

I have found this to be an excellent place to shop for all my hardware items. They seem to stock a…read morebig variety of products and everything is reasonably priced. They stock a small selection of bathroom products, including hair dye, toothpaste, bubble bath etc, kitchen items, including bake ware, utensils and containers, there is also a section at the back for screws, nails, small tools and sandpaper. They have a selection of cleaning and washing items, as well as a selection of cosmetics (including gift boxes).The shop is quite small and there is not a lot of room to pass people but I feel that this helps to keep the prices down as they have less overheads. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I would be lost without this shop locally.
