In today's case, I was offered an orange wine, and a couple of options for Rose, but nothing white. As I tried to remember and describe the more specific qualities that I was looking for (i.e. unfiltered, etc.), I was met with condescension. I decided to just get the orange wine and go. I will leave this with a quote from a Food & Wine article on "funky wines:" "Taylor says he's accustomed to people coming into his place and asking for funky wines.
