These were very rare wine bottles and she could have easily sold them to the highest bidder like most liquor stores would. Helene and I both enjoy a good Chardonnay and "Wolffer's Pearl" is great, A chard with tremendous body and depth. We had the honor of being on a European Wine Cruise with the wine maker. Roman Roth [and his wife]. He had multiple wine dinners where we had an opportunity to try some of these new red and white wines and really took a liking to them. We joined their wine club as soon as we returned home so we'll have more to enjoy during the year. Let me be honest... I have been drinking and collecting Roman Roth wines for years now and have always enjoyed them. The team that took care of us was amazing. Nothing but smiles and service. We were very lucky to have the opportunity to experience this wonderful visit. The only downside is that the drive from mid-island to the Hamptons can get a little long.
