Stopped at Second Chances Antique Gallery in Warren to see what interesting things I could find…read more From the outside it Second Chances doesn't look like much, but once you get inside it is impressive; there are 3 rooms of a wide variety of stuff. Lots of variety, collectibles, antiques, instruments, toys, and just about anything you could be looking for. Talking to the owner I found out that he had recently bought out the previous owner and was getting things organized and cleaned up. I was impressed with the wooden masks and assorted carvings they had; most were very high quality and vintage. The back room has a wide variety of items, from the usual flea market trinkets to really nice items. I found a really cool walking stick with a hatchet head, it was unpriced and the owner was great about negotiating a fair price. Overall I was very impressed with the variety and selection at Second Chance, well worth the drive. The new owner was very friendly and willing to deal. If you are looking for something vintage or antique go and check them out.

Located on Kinsman Road in a former drugstore building you will find an 'antique mall' filled with individual booths. The Mall is overall very clean and bright, most of the booths are well organized and easy to check out. On the downside I found that less then half of the items were antiques or vintage, instead it is a mix of all sorts of items. For me I only saw a couple of items that interested me. Overall the prices seemed high for what was being offered; prices do vary depending on the booth. The vendors and volunteers that were in the Mall were nice and friendly and clearly the vendors care about their booths. I was primarily looking for wood carvings, especially masks so it is always a longshot whether I will find anything, but usually I can find some items that are worth checking out; here the pickings were very slim. As you navigate through the space, you'll find everything from local jams, furniture, Viking attire, toys, decor, clothing, and seasonal merchandise (Christmas). I would especially visit this space if you're looking to entertain and need plates, tea cups, and so on. Also, if you're looking for a fancy brooch or necklace for your next social event, look no further. I visited for just browsing. I walked out with gorgeous Matryoshka (Russian Doll), a hand-painted Russian egg with a church on it, and crystal-ish egg holder. I paid very reasonable price for these items considering that souvenirs from Russia are scarce right now. This space really offers very unique finds. VALUE: The prices vary. Each seller sets their own prices so they are all over the board. I would say that you can find items within any budget. Most items are well priced for antiques. SERVICE: The vendors work at the shop to help out. Several people approached me to offer help, share stories about the space, and socialize. I found this to be a very friendly environment. After checking reviews online, it seems I'm not the only customer who has encountered expired products here. There were no signs in the store disclosing this issue. When I brought it up, the owner questioned me aggressively and even raised his voice while I was still shopping in the aisles. He asked why the bottle I was bringing back was empty, which felt unreasonable--I wasn't sure if he expected me to bring back a half-finished drink. The situation was embarrassing and uncomfortable. I wouldn't have made a big deal about a refund, but the way I was treated made this experience unacceptable. I hope the business improves on how customers are treated.

There is SO much to look at - I could spend hours in here. There is a full main floor, upstairs & basement! Actually, I spent at least an hour in here. You can find antique Christmas items, books, clothing, fabric, glassware, toys, furniture, etc. We found some vintage American girl paper dolls from the 90s for $5! My daughter will love them.
