First time I stopped in, I picked up some fresh pasta and bolognese sauce to prepare at home. Staff was friendly and offered me some breaD to take home. Pasta and sauce was delicious, and made me want to try other options. Next time I went, I ordered some already prepared pasta - shells in a truffle veal sauce. The pasta was so good, I crave eating it again as I write this review. The portion was also generous, I was able to split it into two meals which is a huge bonus to me. They change their menu often and have delicious and creative options to choose from. I will definitely go again when I want to treat myself after a long day, it's not cheap $15ish per plate of pasta.

The way you order is that first you decide your pasta sauce choice, and then decide which type of pasta you want We asked about wine options, and I think it was BYOW, but there was a dep right across the street and if you're unsure about what to get, the owner has recommendations as well. There's so many pasta sauce options that my friends and I took forever to decide (as usual), but I finally opted for the bow tie pasta with marinara, bacon, mushrooms, grilled chicken, white wine, and cream and it was delicious! I also tried a bite of my friends clam (and I don't remember what else) linguini, which was very tasty as well. Portions are generous, and my friends and I food comaed for at least half an hour after we finished eating The owner was super funny because he'd always tease us with desserts before he brought them to the table which ordered them Definitely coming back here again hehe

But never did i have both with a dab of misogynistic and racist behaviour from the owner! I am not a violent person...but omg i wanted to punch him! The menu is long and everything on it is expensive. We ordered two green salads. Felix ordered a fettuccini olive oil and garlic sauce for 13$!!! At that price, we thought that the ingredients would be top notch. Right? Wrong! I got the spaghetti meat ball. No "s". It was A meatball. The owner flat out asked my husband, because he doesn't talk to women, if his Chinese immigrant friend knows what ground BEEF meat was. My husband told him that he could ask me himself. The owner said he didn't bother because he knows i wouldn't understand him. I speak three languages. He then wrote down our plate numbers on paper table setting. What a schmuck! He wasn't shy on telling us that he buys his ingredients (fake parmesan, bread, salad dressing and so on) at Costco. Nothing against Costco. But when you charge 13-20$ a plate of pasta with sauce from a jar, i think you're ripping us off and taking us for idiots! I can go on and on... He also told my husband that we're better eating the whole thing because he will not let us have doggy bags. Food this nasty, no f-ing way! Worst meal of my life! Worst place ever!

Bernard street was closed when we went so the tables are able to be well spaced out. My only issue was if it were the rain the tables were not covered. Thankfully the clouds cleared up for us and we were able to enjoy our dinner outside. I love a restaurant that specializes in one thing. Some people were upset there was no pizza on the menu but there were enough options to please everyone (seafood lovers, meat lovers, vegetarians). They offer some cocktails and wine but the list was not very long. I ordered the sausage and rapini pasta and was very pleased and stuffed. Dessert looked great and I would have loved to taste the tiramisu but was way too full.

Great for an afternoon lunch outside. If this review were JUST about the food, I'd give it 5 stars. Delicious! I think it's safe to say that their pastas come very close to the authentic dishes you find in Italian homes. Their pizza is also delicious overall, but there's something about than very thin and crispy crust that has your mouth watering after the first bite! Great selection of appetizers too. 10/10 for alcohol. Awkward staff. The waiter attempted too many jokes & didn't get the message when no one laughed. Water wasn't refilled regularly. Lack of friendliness too overall (the "I hate my job" attitude). Regardless - this place is guaranteed to gain more & more popularity in the Laval area!

My friends and I didn't wait too long to be seated on a Saturday night. Several seating arrangements are available; booth, tables and chairs, and s bar with high chairs. It's an open concept kitchen. Parking is definitely hard to find in this area, but it's easier on the weekends and in the evening. I ordered a vegetarian pizza. It's a generous size which I couldn't finish but was able to get packed to go. I expected a variety of veggies but regardless it was really really good. I ordered it for the pesto sauce which was so tasty. There was a great balance of the pesto and marinara sauce. I did find the dough to be on the drier side and also very thin. They have evening specials; one of which the pizzas are for $10 but are on the smaller end. The service was great, the ambience was very good and so was the food. There's a coat stand which I think is very considerate of restos to add during winter. It's not the best pizza I've tried but I had such a good time that I'd go back for another experience.
