Let's make a long story short I went to the dr Saturday again tested positive was told a prescription for the Covid medicine would go to the pharmacy. I took my daughter to the Conway office after being referred by the near my home in MB....my daughter could not walk in and when I asked for a wheel chair they looked at my like asking for something usual...finally after essentially pleading with the intake ladies I got one- they were rude and acted like they did not want to be there...the doctor on call was great however: on the way out they acted like we were going to keep the wheel chair...and only allowed me to take Teresa out after saying she could not walk to my car--ridicious treatment--I meant to post earlier...the date was in on or about August 20...they need customer service training. read more

On April 7, 2022, I went TO Dr. Care with Two broken Bones on my Wrist. The Receptionist or whatever her Job title is (the white lady). hand me a clipboard and said fill this out. I said to her, my dominant hand is possibly broken. She push the ClipBoard toward me again and she said, fill it out the best you can! I did the best I could with my left hand. I thought to myself, if I'm being treated like this at the Front Desk, there's no way I wanted to be seen by ANYBODY behind those Doors. My whole family have been going to the Conway highway 501 location starting at the previous one on Main Street for over 20 years. Recently sent my son in for a routine annual physical. They said he needed additional paperwork forms. I call and they tell me the same thing but can not tell me exactly what forms they are requesting. I call my insurance. They do not know of such forms. We go back and forth and I just had my own annual physical done there a few months back and they did not ask for additional forms then. So we are going else where next time we need help. Last year took a COVID & Flu test to return to work (twice actual) and covered by insurance. I got sick again with Covid the following year and I noticed between the bills that Dr's Care doubled the cost of the Flu test (since insurance isn't covering in full). $200 for a flu test knowing insurance doesn't cover the full cost, then making patients (Many of out employers required these tests to return to work) pay the balance of the hiked up costs. That's not due to inflation, it's actually FRAUD. read more

I was very hesitant to seek care here due to bad reviews. I am new to conway and couldnt be happier with the expertise and time Dr. Eaton spent with me! His bedside manner was amazing. My wait time was average for any office- was in and out in an hour- cant get better for excellent care. This Dr. knows his stuff! I would highly recommend anyone to see him- he deserves praise for his compassionate care. 5 star rating! The ancillary staff could use a little more nice potion - they seem overwhelmed and very busy. I brought my wife to Doctors Care in Conway SC for swelling in her leg. After examining her they told me I needed to take her to the Emergency Room of Conway Medical Center. They made us wait for 30 to 40 minutes to get her paperwork together so I could pay them. Upon arrival at the Medical Center the Triage nurse called the doctor in. They asked why she wasn't sent here by ambulance, I told them I brought her from Doctors Care and they made us wait until paper work was done and payment made the told me to bring her to the Medical Center. They asked "This was Doctors Care?" I replied yes. They looked at each other and they both shook their heads disapprovingly. She was immediately admitted to the Hospital and put on IV antibiotics for several days. My advise to anyone considering using this facility is "DO NOT", Go to the emergency room as an alternative, your life could depend on it. read more

The sad thing is .. you have to go to a place when you're sick or injured and you really don't feel like putting up with any drama. But when you go here, drama is what you get. I am using the word 'drama' as a euphemism for the incredibly poor customer service and the attitude of the front desk staff. Other words are unhelpful, rude, indifferent, (seemingly) incompetent and just plain useless. I went in with credit card in hand and attempted to get information from the desk staff about the services, the costs and the length of wait to see a doctor. I never found out because they ignored me and continued to chat about non-work related issues (food & restaurants). Since I was sick and not in the mood to be treated poorly, I left and went somewhere else. The odd thing is that a guy who was in the waiting room at this place when I walked in, also came to the other Urgent Care Clinic that I went to when I left. I have no idea why he also left this place but it is a very interesting coincidence. Bottom line .. I have liked everyone I have encountered there. I took my son there for his sports physical last year and plan on going again this year. His pediatrician was booked for months. The Dr. was thorough and I was happy with the time he spent with us. I went back when I had the flu. I checked in online and received a text when they were ready to see me. (They give 30 min to get there). I waited a long time, from when I checked in until I got the text, (that's why 4 stars) but I was able to wait at my house, which I liked! I have gone to Doctors Care multiple times; pneumonia, bladder infection....you name it. I always check in online and wait until I get my final text which tells you that you have 30 minutes to arrive. Upon arrival, I have always been greeted with a "Hello" or a warm smile. I usually wait for about 15-20 minutes once I arrive and then they call me on back. Everyone that I've encountered has been extremely pleasant and friendly. Words can not express how disgusted I am with this location. I needed a simple TB test..literally a 10 second test. 2 HOURS. YES. 2 HOURS. One would think the staff would say..hey, TB test, stick him, get him out. Nope. 2 hours. I needed the test for employment, so I had to hang in there. The pace at which they moved was glacial...and worse, they didn't care. I told the front desk I could only wait a few more minutes, and basically, got a shoulder shrug. I went to doctor's care late at night and got serviced within 10 minutes. The front desk and staff was extremely nice. The doctor made me laugh he was very friendly. I had a good experience here. Any place you go to that involves doctors, during the day, will be packed... Better to come to this place late because they can't help how many people they get and the order of the people. read more

Had to go to Doctor Care on7/17/17 by Market Commons and the staff was nothing but Professional and Helpful. Took me in went in and out in less than one hour. If you don't want or can't make an appt. with your doctor I highly recommend Doctor Care. The ladies were all very nice and really did a great job. will always go here when needed. read more

Looks great from the outside but during the ongoing almost 2hr wait with them not even returning the insurance and id cards. We have noticed multiple walk outs and people walking in for unscheduled drug screens being immediately seen. Along with all that the bathroom has hand sanitizer in place of soap no sanitary trash disposal and no paper towels our hand dryer all this and you think you are in a gas station bathroom and not a medical facility bathroom. I myself would rather of gone to the local hospital if not for the wait already received at this facility read more

DO NOT GO HERE. SAD WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! I went to this clinic on a Sunday and paid the $125 to be seen. They did a in house test and told me I had an infection and prescribed me a pain relief and antibiotic. I took these for the nine day run and they were of absolutely no help at all. It was getting worse. I called them and they said my only choice was to come back in.... PAY AGAIN (of course) and be seen by a different doctor. I was extremely upset I was going to have to pay full price again since they first visit was of no help but had no choice. While I was in the office my husband called Billing at Corporate and even their head of billing said it didn't seem right I would have to pay all over again since it was a misdiagnosis the first time and no help. This time they gave me another test that was going to be sent out. The new doctor gave me a different prescription and said I must have had a different kind of infection then they thought the first time. This time I paid more than the first because of the outside test. So now I had paid them $300 I did not have but needed help. Once again after over a week of taking this prescription it was of no help at all!!!! Seriously??? I began to get worried as they had never called me back with my outside test results so I had my husband call and ask when the results would be back and what I was supposed to do now that the new diagnosis was also a bad guess (and "guess" I think is a good word for what they appear to be doing) When my husband called them they said they had the results back and they were negative. They never called and told me they had the results in like they said they would and just left me to worry for a few extra days. Not sure if I ever would have known if I hadn't called. My husband asked them what we were supposed to do know since we had already wasted $300 there in two visits that seemed to be nothing more than throwing darts. Their response? "I know you don't want to hear this but you should come in and be seen again" (For another $125 of course) YEAH RIGHT!!! My husband talked to a very nice nurse who said she would put my results and records up into their 'Patient Portal' and for us to go sign up for the portal so I could get my records and go to a legitimate clinic. I signed up and waited all day (in pain) for them to send me my access password and I never got a thing. The next day I was feeling much worse so had my husband call again about portal and records. He was passed to three different people before getting a different nurse who also could not seem to get the portal access after many attempts. She then told my husband that the portal seemed to not be working and it wasn't their fault because even though it says it is the Doctor's Care Patient Portal it is actually owned by another company and she didn't even know who we could contact to get it fixed and thought it would be a long time for her to reach someone who could do something about it. Par for the course. So after spending $300, wasting three weeks getting worse and feeling much more pain... being asked to come in again and spend another $125 and then being told the online access to my records I should have was broke with no fix in site... I have decided to write this review. This is my first online review but I swear to all you reading this that this is the exact experience I had with this outfit. They happily took money, TWICE, and provided me exactly nothing in return. Now I am just three weeks worse off then before I saw them and extremely short on Christmas funds for kids. If I could give this place no stars I would. Terrible customer service. My husband had to go there for medical exam for work. After 3 hours he is still sitting. I went on line to see what other reviews were out there for this place, as the employees constantly complain about the care and service. Looks like he will be sitting for quite a while longer. You expect some wait when visiting this type of facility, but normally they keep you updated, and communicate. Not happening here! If you can, find another place to visit. This one will keep you waiting. My suggestion is to bring a lunch and dinner. read more

Absolutely the worst place I've ever seen. I called there was no wait , when I arrived there was only 1 person in the waiting room. It took an hour and 15 minutes for me to get called in with only one person ahead of me. The staff is rude. They ended up prescribing me the most expensive medication just for a sinus infection which I ended up getting sick from. When I called back the next day to tell them I called at 8am. They told me there is only 1 doctor that works each day and they would leave a note. I then called 4 more time throughout the day because it was Sunday I didn't want the pharmacy to close. They finally got back to me after 6 which the pharmacy was of course closed. I would never in my life recommend anyone go here. read more

Wow. I was pretty sure my wife and I just had a virus that had been going around, but we also had flu like symptoms. We did the online preregister thing and got a text to go, then after we were on the way another text came through saying it would probably be another 40 minutes. So much for preregistering. The people were nice enough, and the triage nurse went ahead and did a flu swab on us. After a while they wanted to do a urine sample to rule out a UTI. Ive never had one but when my wife looked up the symptoms and some of what we were experiencing could possibly be symptoms, so we went ahead and did the sample. We're figuring, hey, medical professionals, they must know what they're doing, right? After an hour or so we were put in a room and waited. The physician's assistant came in and said there was some slight presence of bacteria in the culture, no flu, and they wanted to do blood work. Again, medical professionals and all that. They found some elevated white blood cell count. Really? Ive been puking for a day and my body is fighting an infection? Thanks so much for clarifying that. Bottom line: if you don't mind waiting a long time, being seen by someone who is just guessing what could be wrong with you, and paying for a series of unnecessary tests (even with insurance it cost us 280 each) then this is the place for you. I would give 0 stars if able. Was with my 14 month old daughter. Checked in online at 10:00 a.m. Kept checking how many people were in line ahead of me. At one point it was at 6 people ahead of me for about an hour, yet I got the text message to come in at 12:00. We went in, filled out paperwork and waited until 2 pm before we were called back for triage. Then waited another 20 minutes for the doctor when I finally went out and asked how much longer it would be. The nurse got an attitude saying that she was sure I could appreciate that there are more patients and there was a doctor behind the desk as well who said that its like an ER just don't see things as bad, and that we would have to wait just as long if not longer in an ER. I of course can appreciate that there are other patients, but GIVE ME AN IDEA OF HOW LONG A WAIT!! Finally, after pressing him, he said "Within a half hour". I promptly said I was leaving and got my money back. YOU TEXT ME TO TELL ME TO COME JN ONLY TO MAKE ME WAIT FOR ANOTHER 3 HOURS AND ARE RUDE TO ME ABOUT IT!?!?! TERRIBLE!! had to wait 3!!!! hours to be seen for 5 min and that is when I was complaining about running mild to high fever that lasted 3 days, chest pain, severe cough. dr Dennis Rhoades rushed me out while I was trying to ask him a question?? got my prescriptions but no sick leave at first and that given he diagnosed me with bacterial infection and I work in food service? by the time I filled my prescriptions my fever was 103 and stayed that way for a few hours, needless to say I was less than capable to work. I have used this location 3 times in 10 months, for minor problems (bad eye infection, infection of a finger , poison ivy rash, etc) and I also took my husband there once recently for a leg burn. I am a registered nurse from another state and can look at their care from a different point of view. The main complaint seems to be that people want instant care. What they can't see is how many caregivers are actually in back and how urgent are the other pt's complaints. If you call a family doctor more times than not you may not connect with an actual person you can talk to for 24 to 48 hours. If you go to an ER, you may have to wait between 1 and 8 hours depending how badly other people are injured or sick(how life threatening is their problem). I know me and my spouse were both given very good care. I also know we had to be patient while waiting for this care. I thank God that there is a place like this when we need care. I also know that if I believe I need instant care urgently, how to dial 911 and get an ambulance. I also know how to say thanks! read more
