Crack in the sink…read more Other room the telephone cable was disconnected and the kids didn't realise so couldn't contact them for their early morning call. Found out that breakfast was not included, as it happened, we couldn't wait. €17 per person seems quite excessive. Regarding the iron, fortunately, we had our own. Wrong advice about local restaurants. Told to travel into Bordeaux with a taxi price tag of €30, one way (no mention of the tram). Google helped with a streak house in walking distance. The bar area was unlit and mainly unstaffed. Tried my best with French and also used a translator. Just found it in unfriendly. Bear in mind that the restaurant isn't open at weekends. The public toilets on the ground floor had a terrible smell of urine. So strong, I couldn't use. Used the one for the disabled which was fine. Back to the room and the shower lacked a good pressure. Towels were flimsy. NOTE: These were allegedly executive rooms. Altogether, not good. I won't return.
