She kept me updated about my records because I had 4 doctors. I was only in the area for 2 weeks and needed a follow up appt from cataract surgery from another specialist in Oregon. Tema worked with me to try and get an appt in my 2 week time frame. She spend 25 minutes checking each cornea specialist at all their locations. She really worked hard but unfortunately when you call a highly reviewed practice the chance you take is not being able to get a quick appt. I appreciate so much the time they both spent to help me. If Kristy and Tema are an example of how you will be treated at this office, you will be treated above and beyond. Even though I was not able to be seen I still highly recommend this practice based on these 2 employees.

I get a message that indicates they can't send a verification code because there are problems sending one to me. No one seems to be competent. The doctors are fine, but beyond that, there is no concern for the patients. I guess I will have to make an appointment to discuss my question about making an appointment for a procedure. Nurse brought 2 student nurses in and explained in detail what instruments and how they would be used in front of patient who was already worried about procedure. Remember the patient has limited IQ. When my niece took her mom (my sister) for her appointment, they were told they missed their appointment, it was 9:45 and they need to reschedule. My sister has health issues and has to have someone bring her to appointments, this was a massive inconvenience for both my sister & my niece (who had to travel over 45 minutes to get there). My sister does not want to go back (this was NOT her 1st time there either) because of the mix up.

One…read morething that did change after two years was that my final exam was initially done by an opthamologist & that changed to an optomotrist after the first two years, but for me that's fine. The thing I appreciate most is that they start appointments on-time & seem to do a thorough job. A vision technician does the preliminary things & then the optomotrist finishes & writes a prescription for glasses. With my insurance, there's no out-of-pocket cost for this exam, but I'm sure that wouldn't be the case for everyone. They also sell/make glasses, which seem pricey, but I feel to be of high quality.
