I initially went here as a last minute option after my sister had referred me to 1960 Family Practice saying that they were really convenient for her, which she wasn't wrong about. First off, we all know that no one LIKES to go to the dr but hey, we gotta take care of ourselves. Parking isn't too shabby, they have plenty of spaces but can be full sometimes. This place is not too fancy, but it's clean and they have ample seating with chairs that are not too squished together so you have some sort of space between you and the other people waiting. One of the main reasons I like coming here is the ease of scheduling appointments. When I get sick, I try to call first thing that morning to set an appointment and they always try to get me into the earliest one. The receptionists are never rude and are helpful to update any information such as insurance changes over the phone to save you time when you're in there. The rest of the staff are also very friendly and helpful, I haven't encountered any debby downers while I've been coming here, so that's cool. Wait times aren't bad either. Most of the time, I haven't been sitting down for more than 10 minutes before my name is called. Now to the doctor. Dr. Lance Pickard is great. He's always very nice and in a good mood and I never wait long in the exam room. What I like is that he takes time with me and doesn't rush my office visit and is happy to answer any and all questions that I have as well. After your visit, checking out is a breeze and they always get me in and out. The only negatives I have is that their pharmacy can be a hot mess sometimes. I have waited a long time to have a prescription filled and once they couldn't find my prescription so I suggest just going to your ordinary pharmacist to have your meds filled. Overall, this place does the job. They make your doctor visit easy and makes your sick days less of a headache.

I have gone…read moreto multiple chiropractors and medical massage therapists over the past 11 years to try to find relief. Although I would get relief, it would only last around 5-30 minutes. My husband visited Dr. Johnson in 2019 when we first moved to Houston and had rave reviews. I am not sure why I waited so long to see him! Fast forward to August 2nd, 2022, I decided to reach out and within minutes, Renae was so prompt in her response to my inquiry about appointments for August 3! She was able to fit my husband and I on the schedule. My husband's 2019 Ring Dinger adjustment was so good and lasted all these years; the only reason why he had to go back for another adjustment is because he sustained a trampoline injury. Please note: I am 26 weeks pregnant, so I had the Ring Dinger and a manual neck adjustment. I have also experiencing GERD issues with my pregnancy. Immediately after the Ring Dinger and manual adjustment, I finally remembered what it was like to not live with the chronic pain from my car accident. Even though Dr. Johnson couldn't do treatment for my GERD symptoms (because I am so short and my belly is so big from pregnancy - a sign that Dr. Johnson is an extremely safe practitioner and DOES NOT do treatment "for the Youtube views"), the adjustment itself significantly improved my symptoms and I did not have to take a TUMS before I went to bed. I had an appointment with Dr Johnson in 2019 to address a hiatal hernia. He gave me the "ring…read moredinger" treatment, using a towel he yanked my head, hard. I went into shock immediately afterward. Recently, I had a CAT scan of my neck and shoulders due to years of chronic migraines and seeing a lot of specialists to try and work out the cause. The test results revealed that I had three bulging disks in my neck. I was told that this was caused by whiplash or a sudden yanking of my head. The only time that this happened was in 2019 with Dr Johnson. I didn't connect the dots until the neurologist pointed out the cause. The migraines started after my visit with Dr Johnson. In addition, I have developed chronic fatigue which I have had since 2019. Bulging disks in the neck can also cause this ailment. I suffer 21 days, on average, of migraine each month, in addition to frequent bouts of chronic fatigue. I have spent most of my time in bed since 2019. I have also spent tens of thousands of dollars on treatment and drugs. If you are considering a chiropractor, Please don't do the ring dinger. It has reduced the quality of my life since 2019. I am retired now, and spend my time going to physiotherapy three times a week, and many days in bed. I do not recommend this "ring dinger" chiropractor treatment. I'm not against chiropractors, and they have a place, but I don't believe that treatment should be so aggressive. By the way, my hiatal hernia was not fixed.
