I had a terrible migraine today that my normal remedies just weren't fixing... I went in to Not A Bar Dripp Bar for a shot of zofran (nausea) and another of toradol (pain/anti-inflammatory). After a quick zoom with a nurse to review my medical history, I was in and out and within 20 minutes I am feeling SO much better. There was no attempt to upsell or sell a membership - just a welcoming reception and easy experience. They offer snacks and drinks (which I didn't try because of the nausea, but it really was a thoughtful touch). The place was immaculate, and had a very cute aesthetic. As an unexpected bonus, shots are half off Monday-Friday from 12-5! Best $20 ever spent. read more

Very disappointing experience today. The receptionist was rude and dismissive. I was told to pay $40 to renew my IV authorization, which is fine but her attitude was unprofessional. When I asked about IV options, she pointed to a wall with no explanations and told me to "look online." Not helpful at all. I've spent a lot here before, but I chose to leave. I visited Not A Bar Dripp Bar (1365 E 19th St, Unit B, Upland, CA 91784) for IV therapy, and it was a terrible experience. Two days after the treatment, my arm became very swollen, painful, and badly bruised. This is not normal, and it is clear that my vein was injured during the IV placement. When I called the clinic to let them know what happened, the staff were extremely rude and dismissive. They kept repeating that this was "normal," even though the swelling and pain were getting worse. Their attitude and lack of care were completely unprofessional. I'm very disappointed and genuinely concerned about the quality and safety of their services. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this place. The prices are on the high side of the scale & I'm not sure if it was worth the difference. I'm also bugged by the Tip option when paying. While working a 24 hour shift by hands & arms started cramping really bad do to my lack of water and nourishment that week. I heard about iv treatment before so I thought i would give them a try. They did not disappoint. Staff was friendly, professional, & knowledgeable through the entire process. It went super smooth and I didn't feel a thing & I hate needles. I came in because I had a migraine for three days, and my medications weren't working. My aunt suggested I try Not a Bar Dripp Bar, so I decided to give it a shot and tried a liter of "Surviving, Not Thriving." Ryan was the nurse who inserted my IV - he did it completely pain-free and was very kind and attentive throughout the infusion process. The environment was really comfortable, with cozy reclining chairs and even blankets provided. As much as I love rock music, I only wish the volume had been turned down a bit since I was dealing with some noise sensitivity from the migraine. I've been coming here for over a year now, and I can't recommend them enough. The entire team is always so friendly and welcoming every time I walk in. They're incredibly knowledgeable and take the time to explain everything, which makes me feel comfortable and confident in the services I'm getting. I don't normally leave reviews because I'm not an internet person, and I hate confrontation, but my experience here was horrible and I think it's important to warn other people with chronic illness that this is not a safe place to get treatment. I came in to get an IV and the nurse who helped me was very uncaring. As soon as I walked in, there was an awful chemical smell from either a candle or some type of scented plug-in thing. It was late & nearby IV locations close earlier, & I desperately needed an IV because I have chronic illness, so I decided to stay. I let the nurse know that I had a headache, and that the chemical smell was making it worse, and asked if she could please put it out. She looked at me like I was crazy and told me there was nothing she could do because it was in the front room (it wasn't, I could see it literally 10 feet away). So I ended up getting a massive migraine, and even though I covered my face with my jacket, the smell was so strong I couldn't escape it, even when breathing through my mouth (it probably sounds like I'm exaggerating, but the smell was so strong that my boyfriend could smell it all over my clothes when I got home 30 minutes later - he's not sensitive to chemical smells like I am & he said it smelled nauseating). I've been to many different IV places over the years, and I've never met a nurse who was so uncaring. I assume there's a big percentage of people who get IVs that have chronic illness, and it's basic knowledge that chemical scents can trigger people with migraines, cancer, or chronic illness. If you're going to run a wellness space, people who are sick should not be exposed to chemicals. Also, it's just common decency as a nurse, someone who helps people for a living, to care more about a patient than a candle (especially a patient who is paying $200 for a treatment). Besides her dismissiveness about the candle, she was also very abrupt with my treatment. Nurses will usually administer glutathione last, and do it slowly, because it burns and has an awful taste. She pushed it before the IV had started, and did it so quickly that it hurt a lot. Also, all the IV places I've been to either have relaxing music, or no music. They were playing the most insufferable country music, and bad taste aside, it's standard for wellness spaces to feel peaceful and relaxing, which is impossible when you play horrendous music. I don't write this to get anyone in trouble, but just to let the owner know that the nurse who works there needs to understand the customer base she is serving and learn to have more compassion for people with chronic illness. On a positive note - the chairs were comfy, the prices are relatively cheaper than other places, and there are discounts on the weekend. But if you get migraines, or have a chronic illness that is triggered by chemical scents, I would highly recommend calling first to see if they are still using the candles/chemical plug-ins. read more

I absolutely love this place. Staff is super amazing, caring, and gentle. The decor and sounds make it feel like home. They also have free WiFi. They have cozy lounge seats and I loooove their blankets. I go for Glutathione IV treatment and I always feel so amazing and re-energized every time I get it. They do have other treatments but this is what I go for. I'm very picky about where I get treatments and I have to say this location is the ONLY place I trust and go to. Yes, I am regular, I go back because they are good at what they do and it helps me in my training. I am just short of 70 years old and lead an active life, I am happily married , my wife are busy in life, we have 10 grandchildren that keep us hopping. We are very involved in their lives and ours. I at the Not a Bar Dripp Bartoday and the word must be out being healthy is a good thing! Five of the six chairs were occupied, the staff was busy with clients. The staffs constantly monitors the clients, and communicates with each other, it is just good energy there. I feel energized and will continue to go back. Thank you Nurse Bonnie and staff! read more

With that said, the owner did not even bother to call me to address my unhappiness with my botox and Juvaderm XC filler that she herself did. Last time I heard from their coordinator, she said that she has escalated this matter to their medical director and that was on 4/29/2025. It is now 5/8/2025 and after two more calls to the owner, she will not return my calls and apparently did not reach out the the medical director. She also had my Yelp review removed, so I will redo it and resubmit it. 4/12/25 - I got botox and filler because I had lines above my lips. I have had filler three times in the past (not always from them). I always get 1 syringe, which does the trick. Not this time. My lips have a weird shape and barely have filler on the top, and I still have lines above them. Also, the owner said with the extra (not sure why there would be extra) she would fill in my nasolabial lines. She made more wrinkles on the side of my mouth. It looks horrible. Also, my botox on my forehead is uneven and also looks horrible. I have never experienced this before. When I called I asked if I could see someone else (other than the owner) who could fix what she did. They told me no, that I would need to see her. Why would I want to go back to her, when I don't like her work? No thank you. I spent $775.00 (It would have been 825.00, but I got a discount from Alle) This is a lot of money and she didn't even care to make it better. I guess she thinks that she has enough business and doesn't care about people and their money. I guess she also doesn't care about her reputation. I went to her once before and I am not sure what happened to her and her lack of empathy for people who are just trying do something good for themselves. Now I have more lines on the side above my lips that weren't there, and my face just looks so bad.
