I called Bond for information about my grandmothers burial. Our family is small and distant so we did not have a funeral, just a service at the burial site. The man on the phone seemed too busy and interrupted me with a rash tone, and then was rushing me off the phone. I was caught off guard in my state of confusion and hung up with him not finishing my questions. After gathering my thoughts I called back again a few moments later, I got the same man on the phone and I politely asked him if he had the time to help me with a few more questions. He said he did, never once did he have a caring or sympathetic tone, I was wondering if I could see her before the burial, I got snapped at that shes already been cremated. as if he was speaking of the garbage being taken out. I broke down in tears bawling. not because he was treating me poorly but bc I was heartbroken my grandmother was gone and I didnt get to say goodbye. He still did not give ANY type of kind words or kind tone, not even an "I'm sorry for your loss" instead I received a very dry and cold "Okay buh bye then" All I can say is WOW, I later emailed them about this incident, this was 2 weeks ago. I never even received an apology email. After speaking to the family member who made the arrangements for my grandmother about it I was told that barely an hour after she died they were pushing invoices in front of him... Her body hadnt even been cold yet....LITERALLY. At the burial, immediately after the minister closed his Bible the man from Bond was taking my uncle aside with an invoice in his hand. To our family it didnt make sense to have a large funeral, there arent many of us. We wanted something small and private. It shouldnt matter how much we are spending . But clearly because we didnt, we were treated poorly.

They took an Obituary down since November supposedly it is being re-Written and here we are , almost 3 weeks, and the my mother's Obituary page is still not found on their site. Sickening and people should look elsewhere for their families eternal place and service. This funeral home sucks big times.

Like in my entire life…read more First of all, without us even bringing it up, Jim was looking to minimize costs for my fathers funeral. But aside from that, his outright kindness and empathy... Like stopping over to drop things off to my mom, or picking up clothing. (at no charge) I struggle to find the right words to express the level of personal integrity that Jim has. Some of my fathers extended family have been going to Gleason's for years, and I had no idea why really... Until it was time for me to deal with the challenges of losing my father. The videos were beautiful and everything was set up so nice, and they did an amazing job honoring the life and memory of my granddaughter. I was so impressed. When I walked in they were right there and greeted me like family. They walk me to my granddaughter, and I was moved by the way they treated everyone. You could feel the compassion from the funeral director and his entire staff.
