The course itself could still use TLC from an upkeep standpoint but the price is fair for the quality of the course. I've always experienced very fast greens and their members tend to not fix divots on the course or the tee box as much as you'd like to see. The food has been impressive as of late as well with affordable beer prices. I will say that it is LOUD on the course and when the garage doors are open as the main road is full of 18-wheelers and coal trucks steamrolling through at 50+ MPH.

It's confusing that their tee times are through golfnow but then they don't honor senior rates (despite paying a fee for the online tee times). Their "clubhouse" slash barn could use some work and more food options, especially in the morning.

I was however, very pleased with the condition of the course. The fairways were in great condition as were the greens. The layout of the course is great. I found the par 3's to be very challenging. But the thing I want to rave about most is one server. Unfortunately I can't remember her name, but I was having an anaphylactic allergic reaction to some crab I accidentally ate and one of the servers rushed to me with an epi-pen and injected it into my leg, on top of giving me benadryl. My dad was asking everyone if anyone had an epi-pen, and this lady did and after she administered it, she sat with me until the swelling in the throat went down. I just wanted to thank her. Thank you for saving my life. And to Linden Hall, your staff is amazing and so is your location and all its aspects! Thank you again!

My wife and I went here on a tour. We're looking for a country club to join. It was between this…read moreone and Greensburg country club. I know why Westmoreland country club only has 400 members and Greensburg has 1200 members. The prices are absolutely ridiculous. Basically you pay $20,000 a year for you and your family. And the place looks like it came straight out of the 60s. it smells absolutely horrible in there. As soon as you walk in, you get a punch to the face of mothballs and embalming fluid. I don't know why. I won't lie. The woman who toward us was super nice. And the manager who was a real nice guy, he gave us coffee and tea. But some of the things I didn't agree with. And some of the things that I didn't agree with was if I wanna go golfing, I'm free and I get a cart for free but if I wanna bring my brother who wouldn't be part of my membership, he's $325 to play and he has to pay an additional $35 just a ride in the golf cart. That is absolutely stupid. I've been a member at country club before. And a lot of them do not do that. They say they have a restaurant but it's not even open yet. And they're closed two months out of the year. Every country club that I've ever been a member at they're open all 12 months. They'll just have one day a week that they're closed. But you can still golf on that day. I do not recommend this place. This place needs to be tore down and start all over again. They need to modernize and they need to get rid of that funky smell. Most of the people that go to Westmoreland country club are 50 years or older. Greensburg country club they said most of their members are between the ages of 21 and 40. They do have some that are older and they also have a younger group of kids that are legacies off of their parents, but also are really in the golf. And when you want to golf with a family member not in your package it's $40 and the cart comes with it for free. That's more reasonable. Their pub looks so much better than Westmoreland and their dining room is beautiful.

One place for improvement though that would have gotten them a fifth star was that the sand traps have been degraded. Grass has been allowed to grow down into the sand.
