They will for sure be our groomer from now on. They have a wonderful area out front with a fire hydrant designated specifically for the dogs to potty on before going inside. I loved this feature! I was also informed that they sanitize that area, which is awesome! It looked very clean and smelled fresh. The woman who helped us (I'm assuming is the owner) was SO kind and complimentary of my dogs. She clearly knew so much about how to cut different breeds and discussed their cuts with utmost expertise. I could tell she really liked dogs and my dogs were instantly comfortable there. I also liked that the grooming tables are behind the checkin desk. They do a wonderful job and you are able to see them grooming when you check in and out! The dogs looked great when they were finished and I felt it was very reasonably priced for the quality of care and service. Highly, highly recommend!

I find this hard to believe since he has not done this at any of three different places we have used before moving here. If he had been kept in an indoor/outdoor kennel as advertised, I'm certain he would not have put up a fuss. I was then told that my dog would have to wear a bark collar before he would be "allowed" back. I have news for this place: You couldn't PAY me enough to subject my pet to this type of abuse again. My dog LOVES Michelle the owner and all of his friends at Happy Pooch. Michelle does a very good job of reading the dogs signals and ques and can predict a situation before it happens. She introduces all new dogs or dogs that haven't met before indivudually to each dog there to ensure they will all get along. Her space is very open but yet she has several different areas for the dogs. It is clean and very well run. I highly recommend Happy Pooch for both daycare and boarding. When you board with Happy Pooch, Michelle takes the dogs home with her, they aren't left alone overnight at the facility. I'm very happy to have found Happy Pooch and highly recommend it.
