They added numerous new buildings and it accommodates the large student body much better. While getting in and out of the school still proves challenging as the ingress and egress couldn't be updated much due to the land lock, at least the learning spaces are conducive to providing a safe, comfortable atmosphere for our children. Wish some of the neighborhoods around it would undergo a transformation. Several lockdowns already this year.

I really like the open feel and layout of the campus and all the space the school has to offer. The dining / cafeteria is where the event was held, and I must say, if I had a dining room with these options back when I was in high school, I would've gained the freshman 15 a LOT sooner. Very spacious with lots of seating and as far as dining room seats go, they're pretty comfortable for long hours of sitting at an event. Restrooms are a little ways down the hall, and if you're new to the area, use your GPS to find your way back. Parking was plentiful, but I wish the volunteers parked further away and didn't use the closest parking spots so that those attending could have preferred parking, but here I go getting distracted and not focusing on the actual review ... on another side note, there's a Tastee Freez across the street, and I was craving chili dogs all day long.

During Covid a lot of kids got into the school (it's lottery admission) that probably didn't need to be there. And some parents don't understand that the school is designed for smarter kids, it won't make them smart. The new Board of Directors and administrators are working hard in helping students find the right schools personal scenarios because this school isn't the right fit for everyone. Unfortunately as a public school, they can't arbitrarily dismiss students like a private can. But if students make good choices and apply themselves, this school offers all they could ever need. Every year there are a few graduate with associates from either CofC or Trident.
