I would strongly caution other patients and families about my experience with Dr. Badruddoja…read more My father's first appointment with this doctor was rushed and dismissive, but unfortunately, his most recent appointment was even more concerning. During the appointment, my father attempted to explain his medical history and raise questions about symptoms he had recently experienced. He was repeatedly interrupted and was not given an opportunity to finish his thoughts or explain his concerns. This was particularly troubling because my father had an MRI in June that showed a small stroke. My father had in fact experienced a series of small strokes approximately two weeks earlier and had been hospitalized for a week as a result. He was attempting to explain this to the doctor, but the doctor repeatedly interrupted him and would not allow him to finish. Whatever a physician's level of expertise, patients deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. A neurologist, in particular, should understand the importance of listening carefully when a patient is reporting new or potentially serious neurological symptoms. What concerned me most was not simply the doctor's bedside manner. It was the complete lack of communication. My father came to the appointment with legitimate questions and concerns and left feeling as though the doctor had no interest in hearing them. Patients should not have to fight to get their doctor to listen to them. They deserve to feel that their concerns matter and that their physician is taking the time to understand what is happening to them. I sincerely hope this doctor takes a hard look at the way he communicates with his patients. Medical knowledge is important, but compassion, respect, and the willingness to listen are equally important parts of being a good physician.

Usually in a normal person the speed is 60 meter/second but in people suffering from nerve problems the speed is around 45 -40 meters per/second. In the person I accompanied to the clinic the speed was zero. After doing a spinal tap which the doctor measures for protein if it is elevated the patient is referred for immune globulin treatment called I.V.I.G. I.V.I.G. comes from a speciality pharmacy the one sending this to the patients home was Kabafusion. All this complicated work done at this clinic is just amazing impressive and unbelievable. Dr Benenati, is awesome.

The doctor was very thorough and I felt like my concerns were heard which I appreciated. I left with several referrals and tests after my initial appointment. I felt overwhelmed but I got it done. It wasn't until an EEG and a diagnosis I disagreed with, when things went wrong. I was prescribed a medication which I never took because I trusted my gut and sought a second opinion. If seeking care here, I highly encourage you to be your own advocate. I felt I was being treated based on tests and not symptoms which led me to another practice.

But after a major surgery leaving me with severe neuropathy, headaches and pain, I was referred to a neurologist. Finding the technology in place and All the studies, I found they were the neurologist I needed. We quickly were able to access due to the right side handicap of my body it was not a stroke, prompt MRI to discover we could rule out the stroke or such. We went with the ambulatory EEG and discovered I had many issues to resolve. The EMG discovered chronic neuropathy on the right side. Left, minor. Linked to Lumbar 4 and SI along other minor damages from long surgery. We have so much still to do, but the evidence is now clear of my path with referred physical therapy to get me back in the path of recovery. My only complaint is, office isn't very prompt on following up on referrals. Too many hands relying on each other and slips. So you can do your own follow up and allow them to do the neurological work, they are worth it. Staff and doctor are friendly and juggle to get you the test needed. It's just insurance that delays the process so you do the leg work.
