TCA has been cleaning my house every month for the past 14 months, and I'm having them come clean…read moreit bi-weekly now that my house is up for sale. These guys are great! Greg is communicative and confirms each clean ahead of time. The teams are different each time, but we have requested repeats when a team has done a bang-up job (most recently we had a pair who not only did a great clean, but were also great with our cats- an added bonus!). They're very clear about what areas of the house get a light clean, and what get a deeper clean (they follow a rotation schedule). Unlike Molly Maid, who I had before, I can use an autopay feature with TCA, which means no more lost checks or having to audit payments on my end....which is a huge relief! They're also cheaper than other cleaning services, for just as good of a job. I've had times where I requested something extra (like dusting a wall in my kitchen which attracts cat hair like crazy) and they've always been happy to oblige. Prior to COVID-19 forcing me to work from home, my days where I could be here to let them in (and babysit the cats during the cleaning) were wonky, but they've accommodated every last-minute schedule shift I've requested. Now we're in a pandemic, and they're following protocol with masks and social distancing every single time. Via text we set up an appointment, and he was not only on time but also courteous. He texted me his timing twice before he arrived to make sure I knew what his arrival would be. He then pre-treated difficult areas and proceeded to power wash the job as promised in the time as estimated. He was punctual, courteous, and polite throughout the process. I couldn't have asked for a better worker. Three days later the stains are still visibly absent. The carpet is now completely dried and I couldn't have been happier with the entire process. I am confused as to what happened with our cleanings since PEC has such high ratings. Lynn the…read morescheduler is great to work with and is very responsive and sweet. Our experience with the cleaners however have been disappointing. For the first cleaning (an initial deep clean), the cleaner did a decent job upstairs but didn't do a good job in the kitchen. There was still heavy dust on the cabinets and above the fridge, and the sink was untouched and the grime was still present. When I asked Lynn about this, she said if there are dishes in the sink, they don't touch the sink. I guess this could make sense but we've used cleaners in the past and they would put the dishes in the dishwasher for us and clean the sink so I thought that would be the industry standard, but it's not for PEC. I was also surprised that they only sent 1 cleaner for a deep cleaning when the consultation sounded as though they would send 2. Our second cleaning the following month with Julianna went much better and she did a fantastic job. I asked if Julianna could be our regular cleaner, which Lynn agreed to, so I was very surprised at how poorly our house was cleaned the 3rd time around. 2 out of 3 bedrooms looked untouched. In my husband's study there were shreds of paper on the carpet and nothing had been tidied. In my son's rooms the beds were unmade and nothing had been tidied. I should mention that I make an effort to "pre-clean" the house so that the cleaners can actually clean surfaces and not have to spend time tidying clutter. My kids' bathtub was not cleaned well and there was a ring around the tub and mildew under the toilet ring. It looked like the cleaner just wiped down the fixtures and counter but not much else. When I spoke with Lynn to find out what happened, she said there was a miscommunication and she thought there were instructions not to clean my husband's study (I never said that) and that they don't make beds that they can't reach from the ground - but my sons' bunkbeds are from IKEA so the bottom mattress is literally on the ground and the top bunk is at arm level. If PEC admitted that the cleaner just did a bad job that would have been one thing but I didn't appreciate the excuses that the cleaners were just doing what they were instructed. When I contacted Lynn she offered a re-clean but this isn't ideal for us because we have been having to stay out of the house for a couple hours after school when the cleaners come (their arrival window is 12-1 for us) so I asked for a credit for our next cleaning instead. Lynn said she would find out if this was possible but there wasn't a response after 24+ hours. But after more consideration, I didn't want to continue our cleanings with PEC since 2 of 3 of the cleanings were not done well, and instead of admitting fault, excuses would be made on why things weren't cleaned.
