NWFSC has a beautiful Niceville campus. I took a continuing education class there (Anatomy and Physiology) by Dr. Jean Mitchell and she was amazing! Enrolling and getting registered for my class was an easy and quick process. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. This is a fantastic school! read more

Extremely hard to get into the school. I have two daughters in two different states that have applied before March and still cannot get into the school due to the red tape of the admissions process. They have all their test scores, great grades, and no disabilities and STILL cannot get in. We have been met with technical program difficulties, advisors not showing up to scheduled meetings, testing that was taken at NWFSC not sent to the right department, supervisors that cannot take care of the problem, and links not being sent, so we can sign up. The admissions process at this school needs efficiency. read more

I drove to NWFSC this morning to take the Pearson FTCE Professional Education Test and all I have to say is, for those of you in the Pensacola/Pace/Navarre/Niceville/Destin/FWB/Crestview area or NW Florida in general, this is your go-to testing center. Everyone is super nice and very professional so I never had any problems. I will be back on September 4th to finish up the Elementary Ed K-6 Subject Examination because it is so worth the hour-long drive from UWF to NWFSC. read more

If you look past the horrid admissions and all the outside factors of NWFSC, I have throughly enjoyed this college. Admissions and employment need serious help. But once you finally make it past all of that, each class and professor has been amazing to me and my learning experience. I received my AA degree here and it was such a breeze with how easy it was for me to know what I needed to complete with their degree works worksheet on raidernet. I'm now in the second semester of nursing school here and it has been a beautiful journey. The nursing program here is amazing and I am honored to be apart of it. read more

This place is a joke for a college. It's 2018, get a better website. Go get some pointers from UWF, they are figuring it out. Clearly these guys need to clean house. I'm an alumni here and I had to reapply, which is taking forever for just non-degree seeking and they have given me such a run around. They reply to emails almost a week late, no excuse. At least send out an email saying you are backed up and less manned- something, not nothing. I don't even want to give this place my money now. Sort yourselves out. read more

Had a horrible experience at student affairs office. I have been to the college 3 times to get everything worked out to return to school. The two times I have been to the student affairs office prior to this experience have been wonderful. However, today that was not my experience. Sandra Henry was extremely belittling to me even though my questions were very relevant for someone that hasn't attended college in 20 years. The office was busy and almost the end of the day, this still does not give her the right to be nasty to students that come in. I left very discouraged and still no answers after I sat there for 3 hours waiting to be seen. I called back and talked with someone (sorry can't remember her name) that was extremely helpful and told me exactly what I needed. If I had not called back and spoke with someone other than Ms. Henry I would have had to sit out a whole semester. NWFSC please look over your personal and how they interact with students, they can make or break a student. read more

Whew, I don't even know where to start about this joke of a "college". I graduated from this school, and I am disappointed I choose to attend let alone have to stare at this name on my degree. Registration and advising is a JOKE! Every single semester they want you to take certain courses, even if they don't fit into your work/current life schedule. They try and tell you it's the "path" that is necessary. I ended up with SIX classes that I didn't even need on my degree audit after I graduated. It was a pointless expense to get my CASH PAYMENT for the classes. My FA didn't cover these since they were not on my degree audit, so I had to pay for them out of pocket. Then FA is a nightmare. They lost my paperwork FOUR times in one semester. I hand delivered it to them twice out of the four, so I know for a fact they received it. They do not answer calls, voicemails, or emails and when you make the trip to the office they take your paperwork and then tell you to follow up on raider net because it takes them so long to process whatever you turn in. Their new Raidernet system NEVER works. Not to mention I can't even view an unofficial degree audit. I had to apply to graduate twice, and PAY OUT OF POCKET. Because I had one class left so advising told me to apply, however that ONE CLASS was cancelled FOUR SEMESTERS in a row not allowing me to take it. Excuses from not enough students enrolled to pay the instructor, to no instructor, to no classroom available to met the instructors schedule. When they finally offered it and I finished it out, I was told I couldn't receive my degree until I paid the graduation fee again because it was in a different semester. Their DFS campus has horrible parking lot lights, and night classes make you feel unsafe walking to your car. Keep in mind this is the same campus a previous shooting took place on a coke employee restocking...so you would think they would fix the lighting for students walking to their cars at night. Their payback policy is to rip you off. You make more back on your textbooks by selling them online. Most of the time they offer your 50-80 bucks for a 240 textbook and manual. The only good thing about this school at all is their cafeteria and the student gym. I would not recommend this horrible experience to any other student. read more

I had a very bad experience at the book store in niceville. Employees on the phones saying "someone needs to get their face smacked in" and employees ignoring you when you have a yet or no answer question. Employees giving you the impression they don't give a f@&k about you at that store...well that's fine bc I don't care about them now either. Employees were so rude. I was treated even worse and had so much attitude because I wanted to write a check for my records. The manager said one thing to me. No hi. No how are you. Only thing she said in a rude tone was "well you can't pay with a check next semester". There is one Book store for this place too. I've also have tried to call the va office for 2 weeks straight and no one picks up or even offer to leave a message. Some people like myself live far away from that campus. And my gi bill forms just got to the va yesterday when I turned them in to them in July. So guess what? That means no income for my bah like I was supposed to have. My experience so far is one where I wish I didn't waste my gi bill here. read more
