BEST SURF SCHOOL IN DESTIN!!…read more These guys are awesome! Dillon, Trey, and Jordan were the best. They made me feel absolutely comfortable. They're personable, attentive, and even took pictures. I've been to other surf schools and this one definitely tops them all. They made sure everyone was safe, gave great advice, patient and absolutely encouraging. They had chairs and umbrellas free of charge for your friends and family to watch you surf. I HIGHLY recommend these guys. I will definitely be back and refer all my friends who want to learn to surf!‍

I highly recommend the Montessori Learning Center of Fort Walton Beach. It is a fantastic school…read morelocated in FWB near the Uptown Station. I first found the school through their website, http://montessorifwb/com/ My son has attended MLC for two years(Pre-k and now Kindergarten) and has loved his teachers. The three teachers/educators at the school are fantastic, dynamic women. These teachers, (Ms. Connie, Ms. Lois, and Ms. Stacey), are the heart and soul of the school. They push the children to excel while giving them the support, love, and encouragement they need. MLC is for children in pre-k 3, pre-k 4, and kindergarten. Tuition is very competitive. The school is located in a house and does not have the look or feel of a public school. Touring the inside, you see that the children are learning in a very comfortable, warm atmosphere. The montessori method is at work in this stimulating environment. For what it is worth, I did not know much about the montessori method previously, but the website for the school provides a vast array of links to explain the montessori method. The teachers truly love the children and WANT to be there every day. They greet the students upon drop off and the principal/director (Ms. Stacey) physically greets you with your child at pick-up. It is truly a connected and loving environment. You can see photos and read more information here: http://montessorifwb.com/

Julie has worked with him over the past year and a half, and he thoroughly enjoys his time with her. He feels capable and positive about himself as a result of their work together. She works on the areas of greatest need with him, helping him learn new tools to tackle his most challenging subjects with greater confidence. Julie also helps us reinforce any areas in which we may want him to get extra practice. Our son is much more receptive when "Ms. Julie" asks him to do it! Everyone in the place was extremely friendly and helpful. I've been to other ranges but not to this one, but they got me up to speed quickly to let me know what the rules were since every range is slightly different. They have plenty of parking and great hours. They had a short wait when we showed up, but it cleared out quickly. I wish they could do two things differently: 1. I wish they had a shelf in the back of each lane to place your bag and gear. 2. I wish they had annual memberships that would allow you to shoot for free for an hour at a time if there is a line or all day if there isn't. My old range was like that, and you got to know the RSOs and even fellow shooters. Had a gun/shooting club feel to it. I'd recommend the place. It's a fun date night. We'll definitely be back.
