We also love teacher Raine and how loving she is to every kid I was apprehensive about having to come and help once a week and have a "job" but it's really not bad and we are all a team. We re-enrolled for our daughter to be in the 4's class. Definitely give it a try if you're thinking about it

We had an amazing experience here our first year... and then the 2023-2024 year was a complete and…read moreutter dumpster fire. My son's teacher was fired in the middle of the school year, right before a holiday break, without giving her a chance to say goodbye to some of her students. This was a decision that none of the membership as a whole was consulted about. The executive board who made this choice never at any point consulted with the membership to ask for feedback regarding their experiences with the teacher before this decision was made based on the feedback of only a few. They also had zero plan for who would be teaching class after the break, setting kids up for failure when the preschool was supposed to be preparing them for elementary school. Parents of children who attend the school, in no way, should be responsible for determining the teachers' employment status. They have zero qualifications for making that judgment and it's a huge conflict of interest. It also speaks volumes that an entire class (and other families from other classes) unenrolled and followed the teacher to another program. Lastly, communication at this school is also lackluster at best. There were multiple instances of hostility from the exec board toward other board members, and a complete lack of professionalism with throwing people under the bus and ignoring member concerns when brought up at board meetings stating "we can't make everyone happy." The exec board also constantly expected other board members to do work that is not within their scope of responsibilities. Honestly, if you value your child having stability in their early education without unqualified SAHMs determining the fate of the school, look elsewhere.

Our experience with KidsnUS Marysville has not met our expectations. The current curriculum lacks…read morealignment with our educational goals for our child. For example, they would only give one dot pen per child and leave them coloring one sheet of paper for 20 min. Interaction and individual accommodation need improvement, and toys provided are not age-appropriate. They have Ikea sorters appropriate for younger children, not preschoolers. Witnessing teachers throwing food raises serious concerns about care and respect. Additionally, our family values limiting screen time, and we've noticed a discrepancy in this regard. I'm happy they have cameras otherwise I wouldn't even know what was going on in there. Furthermore, we were charged anyway for the next month because of their 30 day notice policy although promises made were not met. We hope this feedback prompts positive changes.

My son would beg me not to bring him there but I kept hoping he would adjust. People would tell me "oh he just doesn't like to be away from you" but yet he has no problem going to his ECAP classes but they respect his IEP there at his school, his school UNDERSTANDS he has SPECIAL NEEDS and that means something! They gave his spot up after we were out sick for a month and unable to attend. I was in communication with staff the same way I HAD ALWAYS been in communication via text. That might have been stupid of me somewhat unprofessional of them, but it worked most of the time he was there ..That's how I sent in any notes or anything important TO HER VIA TEXT. Well apparently she did not communicate what was going on and our spot was given away. They just wanted us gone. Maybe my son was too "difficult" for them. But he's a GREAT boy!! Special needs should not be treated with prejudice That's fine though. My son was miserable there and I needed to pull him anyway. The only plus is there are steaming cameras in which you can watch your kids. Sure they might not be getting beat but they are deff not thriving. And with a director (Kylie) who plays favorites with parents and treats others like trash if you are on subsidy or have a child with special needs I recommend staying EXTRA far away!! I could go on but I'll just leave it at the fact that we toured three new daycares today and as my son was going to sleep he said "Mommy I don't care which just NEVERRRR take me back to Kids N Us"! I always thought he was being dramatic but I think they need to deff change some things so they are not traumatizing children in their most developmental years!!!
