This business fraudulently towed away my husband's vehicle. No one asked them to at the hotel, and the FJ is owned. We are in the process of filing charges and getting a lawyer for all of this. Edited to add: No, there wasn't a tow tag for two weeks, we were just there last week and there was no tow tag. I have called and talked to the GM of the hotel and they didn't call to have our vehicle removed. I've been in talks with the hotel and they're being more helpful than you have been. Not to mention, you refuse to tell us who told you to remove it. Because my husband asked when he called. AGAIN, THIS WAS FRAUDULENT. I will be contacting the BBB and the media. read more

I reported this buisness to better buisness bureau. I just received a response. They alleged i never informed them that an 8ssue had happened. This is absurd. I was stranded thanks to them my spare was ruined. When I called back they told me to call State farm road side assistance again. I spoke with Jose Chacon the tech and dispatcher. I was blown off. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Took sixteen hours to get our car towed after we were told initially two hours. Then.after getting our car there's damage to the front underskirting from the tow. Filing a claim as we speak. read more

We were recently rescued by Margie with Northstar Towing. We had a flat tire on our way to the airport in Grand Junction and this Superhero Margie came to our aid . She changed the tire and we were off and made our flights. Margie was very pleasant and professional. She moves with the grace of a ballerina and the speed of a pit crew. She saved the day. Next time I have a flat tire I'm calling Margie. Of course she will need to drive her truck to California. read more

Was in town for a vacation and woke up early to hike. My car was not starting, so I called AAA. Northstar was called from AAA to help. I appreciated that Northstar reached out to keep me informed as to when I could expect someone to arrive to help. The estimated wait time was about two hours. However, Northstar did not arrive until after three hours. The technician was new to Northstar. I had a feeling this was my car battery, and he tested it and said it wasn't the battery, as his information said that my battery had 46% of its life left. His suggestion was to run the car for a few hours to give the battery a good charge. We decided to do some sightseeing and later that evening, the car started up again, so we thought maybe everything was fine. The next morning, I went to get gas and when I started the car back up, it was completely dead. Luckily, I was able to get a jump start from some people there and was able to head over to Napa Auto Parts, who quickly diagnosed it as needing a new battery. They installed and I have been driving ever since without any problems. I called Northstar to share that maybe their new guy may need new training and explained the outcome. We both laughed when Northstar informed me that he went to a training class on batteries right after he had been to help me! read more

I was waiting for my usual tow company, the one I know and trust and NorthStar rolled up and said they were going to take my car because they had a work order. I dont know who sent that work order, because I would have never agreed to another company. Not sure who this company is but they are rude and I dont want anything to do with them. read more

Returning from the Grand Mesa heading west on I-70 on a recent Saturday late afternoon, our hybrid Sonata lost all electrical power. We coasted off the freeway at Exit 47. A couple of phone calls later, our insurance says a tow truck is on its way. Being in a half panic mode as we were exiting the freeway, we did not notice the exit number. Our insurance guy using his GPS to track our phone came up with exit 42. Robert from NorthStar Towing called and said he was already heading toward us and was 5 minutes away. Except he was told the wrong location. 25 minutes later he calls and says he can't find us at Exit 42. He'd been circling the area looking for us. We describe our location in more detail and he realized that we were further away then he was told. He found us quickly after that and we were rescued. He towed us all the way back to the Hyundai dealer in Grand Junction. We were and are so thankful that he didn't give up on trying to find us. He and his partner couldn't have been nicer or more professional in getting us back to safety. They are a first rate professional crew and nice guys on top of that! read more

We broke down in the middle of nowhere (about 40mins east of Grand Junction) on a cross-country road trip. My insurance sent Northstar and I am so glad they did! I have never had a better towing experience! (How good can they be lol). Northstar was there ahead of schedule, very kind, professional, and careful with my car. We even got to ride with them to the shop! I am so thankful and happy with my Northstar experience. read more

Unfortunately my all wheel drive car was towed on a standard tow truck, not a flat bed. I informed the driver the car was all wheel drive and he had a look on his face and said oh! It is ? Then told me I think I can tow it with this truck. I was unaware that all wheel drive cars must be towed on a flat bed. There was no issue with my vehicle prior to the tow other than a flat tire. The car was towed to discount tire immediately and after the tire was replaced, 6-8 warning lights and a check engine light were on. I immediately drove it two blocks to my repair shop and have not driven it since it was towed. The repair bill is quoted as $700 to fix the transfer case and the gear box. Long story short, never tow an all wheel or 4 wheel vehicle without a flat bed. I would imagine in Colorado companies would know this, but apparently they don't and it cost me a lot of money to learn!! read more
