I had a medical problem and made an appointment on Thursday for the following week. It got worse on Saturday, so I went to the emergency room, was admitted to the hospital and missed the appointment. Now, they want to charge me for missing the appointment. I explained my situation to the front desk attendant. I got no follow-up. I called the business office. A machine answered the phone. They call you back. Hasn't happened yet. The customer service is terrible. They should be ashamed of the way they treat people. I don't recommend them.

I was able to set up a payment plan for my outstanding bill and choose the amount. I chose $50 a month as an automatic payment. The nice lady at the back desk asked me if I would like a phone call me each month before the payment was deducted! I declined, but what a nice offer! Nurse Practioner Ancy was pleasant as always. I barely had to wait to see her. Volunteer Afua took my blood pressure and heart rate. She was as sweet as can be. The office was spic and span. There are signs on the door with instructions on entering. I'm definitely sticking with Sy Med!

They never call you back with test results, just want to put you on pills even when you ask about lifestyle changes that could help with your health issues. This morning was the last straw for me as they had me come in at 730 am after fasting for blood work only to have a nurse tell me they cancelled my appointment and handed me a " DISMISSAL LETTER " after going to them for over 20 years because I tested positive for marijuana that I use medicinally for my PTSD ..... yes you read that right . They kicked me out and told me not to come back . Absolutely ridiculous. Wish I could give them zero stars .

Did not recognize dramatic increase in patient's PSA within a short period of time. Did not repeat PSA in timely fashion, did not offer prescription for medication of any type, did not provide a referral to urologist. Negligence resulted in patient's diagnosis of advanced Stage 4 prostate cancer, ending in premature death. More upsetting was the manner in which Dr. Stovall skirted the issue and saw no wrong-doing on his part.
