She told me no and that it would be today. So I waited til about two pm to call and talked with Taylor (who is a sweet girl and got the brunt of my issue) She told me I was denied. Ok the reason. Because I didn't state that I had a misdemeanor on my background. On the application it asks about felonies violent crimes or sex crimes. Taylor said it says any crimes against a person or property after that but I never saw it. I have no problem disclosing my past because that's exactly what it is my past. But I clearly saw do u have any felonies which I do not. Now if you don't want to rent to me because of my past so be it. I gave my 75$ application fee and a 250$ deposit to Taylor who stated to me if for some reason u don't get the apartment your 250$ deposit will be mailed back to you. Ok great. Go to ask Taylor about this and she tells me that no they won't be mailing my deposit back because I didn't state on app about misdemeanor. Like what? I could understand if it was an admin fee to process my background and credit check but no it was clearly stated that it was my deposit. Even has it written in writing that it's a deposit. My understanding of a deposit is that you pay that when you are moving into a house or apartment. And to keep it is stealing. this company steals from people and they get absolutely no stars. Ridiculous that you have to pay a 75$ application a 250$ deposit plus a 100$ admin fee. Smh is the company so hard off that they have to keep my hard earned money after not accepting me? Plus I have a very good friend who has been living here a little over two years his apartment is full of roaches his dishwasher has been broke the majority of that time. His faucet and shower head are so stopped up that he can't even take a shower and has to wait 30-45 mins to take a bath while the tub fills up his toilet is broken we have to cut the water on and off to it in order to flush it. And ALL of these things have been turned into the office more than once I know because I was the one who turned them in because he works while they are open. they sent maintenance they fixed the garbage disposal and left and never returned.

They're cheap for a reason. I feel terribly sorry for the people that are living there. I have pictures and horror stories. We had water seeping in underneath the floor through the walls while we lived here. We had pipes burst in our ceiling and had to live with it for a couple of days until they were ready to take care of it. I don't recommend this place to anyone. The only reason we rented it was because we were coming from out of state and I rented it sight unseen. Don't fall into this trap. The only bright spot of this place was the maintenance staff they were awesome.

The renovations here are shit. New coat of paint and maybe a new carpet. Towel racks are glued to the walls and the slightest tug rips them off. Your AC will go out consistently, and they take days or weeks to "fix it." I once woke up to my apartment being 93 degrees and was heat sick after putting in multiple work orders to have it fixed for MONTHS. Their solution was a window unit till it could be properly looked at, but why did it take so long? My bath tub was "newly renovated" and the coating on the inside of the tub is peeling away like a horrible sunburn, and the tub is rotting the corner of the way where it attaches too. Again, newly renovated. Pfft. Our stove is shit and the burners consistently burn our food unless you watch them. The dials on it that go from 1 to 10? Anything lower than 4 and it's like a simmer, and that's giving it something. Anything higher than 4 and it acts as if I turned it to 10. It randomly gets insanely hot and I have to turn it off because it doesn't turn off, the coils glow a bright orange, like I said as if it were turned on HIGH. The bottom burner of my oven doesn't work anymore but why put a work order in when they will replace it with an even shittier stove like they did our fridge? Oh yeah, the fridge. Our "newly renovated" apartment's fridge broke down and spoiled all of our food, and it took them several weeks to get us a new one because "they lost the first one." So when we finally did get a new one it wasn't even balanced, as if it were missing a peg on the bottom so it swayed when you opened it and we longer had an ice maker like our first one. Pest control? What pest control? They charge you for it but you never see anyone. I haven't seen a pest man in ages it feels like, and my roommate and I have had to do our own pest control. Fine by me, better than coming home and finding a stranger in your unoccupied apartment like I did so many times. Oh, and if you have a complaint or need to talk to whoever the lease person is (it's a different one every other week) good luck getting a hold of them because they're never in the office. They have hours posted but they're consistently never there. You might get lucky and catch them one day but then you won't see them for days after that. 11 years folks, trust my words. This place is a shit hole and should be condemned and the filthy bastards who run this place don't deserve a fucking dime of your money. You'd be better off living in your car.
