The surgery was performed at Northside Hospital on Johnson Ferry Rd. I was admitted to Northside Hospital's 2nd Floor Neuro for recovery. I couldn't have had a better experience! Every single nurse and staff treated me with the upmost care, professionalism and personable attitudes. I chose to stay longer, because I knew I was being taken care of above and beyond! On May 19th 2026, I decided to have my lower lumber surgery done by Dr. Paul Jeffords and once again performed at Northside Hospital. Once again, I was taken care of beyond all measure and stayed additional days/nights, because I knew I was in the BEST care EVER!!! On July 28th, 2026, I had an additional spinal surgery performed by Dr. Jeffords and his team. This surgery was performed at Northside Hospital and once again, I was treated with the utmost care one could want. I, again, chose to stay an additional day, because of the superior care I received from all of the nurses and staff on the 2nd Floor. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Paul Jeffords and his talented group, Scott Siegel, Shelby and Elissa! I am most appreciative of Northside Hospital's 2nd Floor staff to include: Arin - 80153, Jada - 80035, Christina, Jennifer, Catrina - 53355, David - 73712, Renee - 83293, Sam - 83333, Mae - 81991 (8th floor), Nonye - 82763, Sharale - 82949, Ruka - 73712, Ben - 81615, Austin - 77890 and Casandra (Kitchen staff). Thank you ALL for taking such wonderful care of me during my three (3) stays at Northside Hospital! William C. Frierson (Cliff)

She tried her best to get through taking vitals and everything so the doctor could see us as soon as he was done with the several patients ahead of us. She was so kind, and that made the experience less stressful--no one wants to have a problem bad enough for an urgent care but this one was trustworthy!

Dr. Kim performed no real assessment and offered no solutions beyond a basic urinalysis. I had to ask for bloodwork, and I also had to ask for a prescription to help manage the pain I was experiencing. There was no attempt to investigate the cause of my symptoms or provide meaningful guidance. I was essentially told that if I wanted any real effort in diagnosing the issue, I should go to the ER or see my primary care physician--making the urgent care visit feel pointless. The entire interaction felt rushed and dismissive. Dr. Kim seemed impatient and irritated by my questions, and the initial consult lasted no more than three minutes before he excused himself, saying he had other things to do. I left feeling unheard, unsupported, and no closer to understanding or resolving my symptoms. This experience fell far short of what I would expect from an urgent care visit, especially when seeking help for something painful and concerning.

Do not go for other things like a fracture. Unfortunately my son needed an xray and I called in advance, they were very nice and helpful but never told me that if the bone was broken they couldn't fix it. So why have a kid in pain come in, pay for an xray and then send you to children's healthcare! Also kindness matters... the lady who told me this, was with this attitude like when you talk so loud and fast so the other cannot talk like it was obvious they didn't do casts on kids! Its not obvious lady, just be human and don't say you can take a boy in pain if you cannot do ANYTHING TO HELP! I just hope you don't have to go through this with a son. I ended up in children's healthcare for 7 hours but at least with professional attention.

Remarkable Review - Emergency Care Team Date: April 22, 2026…read more I would like to take a moment to recognize the exceptional care my daughter and I received during our recent emergency visit. From the moment we arrived, the team acted with urgency, professionalism, and compassion. Cherrel, who arrived with the ambulance and her partner, ensured my daughter was transported safely and remained attentive throughout the process. Kendall, my daughter Ja'lyn's nurse, provided attentive and reassuring care, keeping me informed and making sure she was stable and comfortable. I also want to recognize Jacob, who stepped in and took initiative to assist with Ja'lyn's check when he noticed it was due, even while Kendall was occupied. That level of awareness and teamwork did not go unnoticed. Dr. Melnikoff demonstrated professionalism and thoroughness in evaluating and treating my daughter. I truly appreciated him going above and beyond by following up with my daughter's cardiologist to ensure they were aligned and on the same page regarding her care. That level of coordination meant a great deal to me. I also want to acknowledge the rest of the supporting nursing staff, who worked collaboratively to ensure everything was handled efficiently. Due to their swift response and coordinated care, my daughter received the attention she needed during a very concerning situation involving low oxygen levels and low blood pressure. Their ability to remain calm, communicative, and compassionate made a stressful experience much more manageable. I truly appreciate the entire team and their dedication to patient care. -Kay

Okay so the nurses in west 2 WERE amazing. Caitlin is exceptional + deserving of promotions/ raises…read more+ the daisy award. Zach was also very good with my son on our 2nd stay. Jennifer O. For respiratory went above + beyond for my son's treatments. However, the drs are a nightmare. They lied to me when I asked upon a return to the hospital th 2nd time to check my sons white blood count before discharging us. This is the reason we were sent back to childrens hospital- my son had an asthma attack + bacterial pneumonia + they did not check his white blood count before discharging us the 1st time. We were rushed out. Within 2 days my son was sent back. His pediatrician took one look at him at the hospital follow up + knew his white blood count was not good. Sure enough- it had already been high when we first went to the ER- 19000 but Tuesday it was 23000. This is medical negligence + poor care for young children. Shame on you! When I requested to double check - again they wanted to send us home too soon- they refused + claimed he was anemic. 2 days later we had another follow up with his pediatrician + he honestly told us my son was actually NOT anemic- his hemoglobin was over 13. I've been anemic many times + I know it's under 11. So no I don't plan to ever come back to this location when drs so carelessly put young children's lives at risk. This is lazy + malpractice. Do not lie to the parents. I seriously hope the hospital manager sees this review bc this behavior is extremely serious + poor care for children. This is a children's hospital + I was shocked by the poor treatment my son received by the other respiratory therapists. Jennifer O needs to train all of them how she handles young kids bc she was the only one who was kind to my son. Another pinned my son to the bed. I will have a lot to process after both our stays + I don't plan to ever return. I'll be requesting the other location should our local hospital plan to transfer my son ever again for his breathing treatments. Learn from this + do better. These drs need to be held accountable. Even the nurses were surprised his white blood count wasn't being checked when I brought it up. They were lied to as well.
