We were on a CIE Tour Bus leaving a tour attraction outside Orkney that had only a one-lane…read moreentrance/exit road. We were approaching the street exit when Mr. Horton, the owner of Wildabout Orkney, drove his vehicle into the entrance road rather than waiting for our bus to pass and leave giving him space to enter. Even though it was his responsibility to give us the right of way, he refused to back and let us pass. He spoke with our driver and his language was gross and abusive. We considered calling local law enforcement, but in order to keep to our tour schedule, our driver did an illegal backing maneuver to allow Mr. Horton to pass. He had several customers in his vehicle, and I can only imagine what they were thinking about his behavior. Orkney Island is a beautiful place with many excellent attractions, but I would recommend avoiding Mr. Clive Horton and his company, Wildabout Orkney, at all costs.
