I hired Dalton to do some tuckpointing on my house. When we first met, he sounded great. He said…read morethat I didn't have to pay him till the job was done and it would take about a day. After the first day he asked me if he could get paid for half the work. It wasn't our agreement, but he was about halfway done so I agreed to give him half. It took him about 10 days to come back and finish the job. At this point I had time to look over his work and I thought it was sloppy and shoddy. He said his grandfather taught him the trade, but I feel that I could have done a nicer job with no training. When he came back he suggested skipping spots that we agreed on saying that those spots weren't really necessary. Again, I reluctantly agreed. After a few hours he comes up to my door and says he's finished. I was trying to take care of some things on the phone, so I didn't check his days work. When I checked it later I noticed that he fail to fill in a line of brick that went from the bottom of the house all way up to the 2nd story roof. Again an area we agreed on. I called him up and told about it and also some holes and cracks he missed on the other side of the house. He said oh yeah, I forgot about that part and said he would come by next weekend to finish the job. After about 8 calls he never came back. Eventually he stopped answering my call and text. He left about 1/4 of the job undone. He has no pride, no shame. I would not ever hire this man.
