The salon itself is spacious,stylish and decorated with lots of marble. It is devoid of any clutter and has a sense of timeless elegance. However, the main reason I come here is Tony, the owner and senior stylist. He was the person I trusted to cut off all my 80's long permed hair and fashion it into a 90's sleek bob. I have been through a few different styles since then. As well as being a superb cutter, he is also on the very cutting edge of fashion and will transform your hair accordingly if you just let him go. I love the fact that I don't have to say too much but he seems to know just what to do. This may be because I have been coming for so long but I think it is just one of the things he does well naturally. He knows what style suits what face shape and importantly, lifestyle: No one wants a haircut that is too hard to keep up. Part of the service is that Tony will make sure that you know how to manage a new look before you leave the salon. He as even put the dryer in my hand before an got me to do it just to make sure. Crystal, who also works here is an expert in colour. Not as suave and personable as Tony but a genius with all things colour. Being a newcomer to colour myself, she has helped me understand this technical area and does a great job with the foils I have occasionally. Service is great here. Whenever you are waitng you get offered refreshments with choices such as cappuccino, latte and even champagne. When you pay the bill, Tony (being of Italian descent and a smooth operator) will kiss both cheeks and hand you a chocolate as you float out of the door with your new do.
