I'm from San Francisco and I'm very picky. I've only had four people cut my hair in the last 20 years. My first question when I was putting my name on the waitlist was so do all the barbers know how to use clippers? Quite frankly, if the answer was no, I would walk out. A good barber must know how to use clippers well and then scissors. I'm in Bozeman several times a year and I know where to go! Love that they are on Main Street where all the action is for downtown Bozeman. Allie cut my hair and she's awesome! The reason she's awesome is she uses clippers and scissors as well. Moreover, she knows how to style with good products afterwards. Styling gives the flare to the cut.!

I walked in not knowing that appointments are usually needed. I met Bryce (or Brice) who told me they didn't have any appointments available today but to come back at 1 and he would squeeze me in. I can't say how grateful I was and am for meeting such a kind guy. He gave me one of the best haircuts I've had in many years. If I lived locally I would come here for every haircut. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you so much!

My father-in-law will only have his hair cut by Robin since he moved to the area in 2021. He tried another place in Bozeman once because we didn't have time to make it to Three Forks that day and now refuses to go anywhere else but R&D. The haircuts that both Robin and Dave are amazing. We can say exactly what we want and they both will do better than we pictured. When we come to visit my father-in-law from out of town, I make it a point to keep my hair long in the weeks leading up. I normally get my haircut at a big brand name shop near home, but I find I have to come in every few weeks to keep it the way I like it. If I'm lucky enough to time my haircut on a trip to Bozeman, Robin and Dave do such a good job that I don't have to get another haircut for almost two months. If you're in Bozeman, and need a haircut, make the effort to head to Three Forks and check out R&D's, you won't regret it! Just make sure you bring cash!
