We wanted a teacher who was a good fit, so asked about trial. It's a PAID trial, but in my opinion very worth while to make sure it's a fit for both instructor and student. My son liked the instructor very much. When I called to enroll, I was told we had to pay an "enrollment fee". However, the offer online was NO enrollment fee and FREE book for summer classes. The owner told me it ONLY applies to families that don't do a trial lesson. Because I had a complimentary trial, I DO have to pay enrollment fee and buy all books. I'm not a fan of bate and switch. I looked back at the offer and it didn't say anything about paid trials disqualifying the offer. How is the trial complementary if we paid full price for it...... Needless to say, we went just down the street for a true free trial and are making pure rock music with a much better music school that has many more instructors, more economical rates and are honest!! I can't in good faith recommend this music school.
