There's nary problem he can't fix. He is an old school nuts and bolts mechanic. You're not going to see walls of fancy equipment telling you what the problem is. You're going to see wrenches, impact drivers, sockets, screwdrivers and the like. He's one of those guys that can listen to your car and tell you what's wrong. Like all mechanics, he's got busted knuckles, a bad back and miles of scar tissue. He kept thousands of vehicles that were long overdue for the junkyard on the road. His customer base ranged from the richest people in Grand Forks to the people like me who lived paycheck to paycheck. He treats everyone like they are his best friend. 124 Belmont Road is a little slice of heaven, it's sad it's a forced retirement but Paul has worked 15 hour days and sometimes more to keep his customers happy.
