On Tuesday 7/12/22 I called at 8:30 with a snake bitten 17 week old puppy. Hollis was great and got me worked in, telling me I would be called by lunch with a plan. Within 30 minutes Dr. Cecily called me to review the plan and let me know he was ok. This team has been great with all our animals through the years, but this particular emergency was a great experience...if an emergency can be great.

This is not a high-volume commercial kennel. It’s a calm, nature-based, small-group experience designed for dogs who thrive with close supervision, enrichment, and meaningful social time. I live on the property where the dogs stay. The boarding area is just steps from my front door (approximately 20 feet away), and dogs are monitored overnight via cameras. Because I intentionally limit the number of dogs in my care, each guest is fully known and closely supervised. Dogs enjoy a home-like environment with indoor and outdoor options. Most of the day is spent rotating between rest, play, sniffing, and enrichment activities in small, carefully managed playgroups. New dogs are introduced slowly and individually to assess temperament and comfort level before joining group play. Think summer camp for dogs — a safe, structured, lakeside retreat. We call it Camp Fido. Services Offered: Dog Boarding Small-group, owner-supervised boarding with overnight monitoring and enrichment options. Dog Daycare Limited-capacity daycare with indoor/outdoor play, structured supervision, and socialization. In-Home Pet Sitting Overnight pet sitting in your home for dogs who are most comfortable in their own environment. We brought our dog there on Aug 3rd, 2022, not knowing Platinum had been bought out. There was no sign of any price increases and they did not inform us of those increases at drop off time. With the old owners in charge, they would call us three, or sometimes four hours later to come pick up our dog. The new owners called a mere 1.5 hours later to pick up our German Shepherd and she didn't smell fresh like Platinum owners made her smell. They told me it would be a extra $10 for two squirts of fragrance. Fragrance? She should be cleaned properly so you don't have to put fluffy perfume cover-up on the dog. We declined the "cover-up" and asked for the total. The gentlemen asked me how much we paid before. I told him $50. He said it would be $55 as they had to raise prices. Ok, we accepted that, but barely two days later our inside dog smelled like she did when we brought her for the bath. Didn't understand why but we presumed that maybe because they had her out in one and a half hours versus three hours likely had something to do with it. So today, September 14, 2022, we tried again thinking last time they were new at the business and maybe they just had a bad day on August 3rd. When I picked our dog up this afternoon I asked what type of shampoo they used last time because she smelled two days later. The clerk said she'd check and came back to tell me they used a different type of shampoo on her today. It was time to pay and, of course, I thought it was $55 like last time. The lady then told me it would be $85. I'm sorry, what? For what? The clerk informed me, "We used the Dremel to do her nails". I replied I never asked for that service, so she removed the fee. Then she told me the new price was now $65. What? Why? "Because she is a big dog", said the clerk. I decided not to argue with her about $10, but to instead "vote with my feet" so I paid $65 but we will never return. Here's a suggestion. Why not tell everyone you, for the second time in as many months, have raised the prices! I departed for home but driving down the road, I had to drop the windows because our dog smelled like the perfume counter at the department store. I will be looking for another place for her to have a bathed. If you decide not to heed my warning and venture inside to have any kind of pet treatments performed, BUYERS BEWARE and make sure you pin K9 Inn down on the price before you drop off your four-legged family member.

The office staff is very friendly and on top of their game booking timely appointments, filling medication refills, and consulting one of the Vets on patient questions and getting back with their customers quickly. Their efficiency reduces wait times for nervous pets. The Vets and their assistants are very personable and wonderful with their furry patients. They take time to ask and answer questions about the animal's health, care, and behavior. Treatment is as noninvasive as possible. I have been through the hardest of all times at this facility when it came time to let our 16yr old American Eskimo Dog, Charlie go. The staff made a heartbreaking scenario much less painful, both for me and for Charlie by putting us in a quiet back room. They encouraged me to sit on the floor with Charlie on my lap for a time, so I could say goodbye. When I was ready, they came in and administered the drug to Charlie right there on the floor with us, which kept Charlie calm. The whole experience could not have been any better. Charlie's remains were treated with respect and I received his ashes in a lovely wooden box accompanied by a small clipping of his fur and his paw prints. This was hard to share, but its important for folks to know how the hospital staff at Cornerstone treats you and your precious pet at the most difficult time in their lives.

Some of the most fantastic food can be eaten in restaurants that are rundown and look mighty questionable on the outside. You know the ones. The ones that make you go ummmm no BUT your friend told you just how incredible the food really was! So this vet hospital doesn't have a fancy entrance, nor does the inside have pretty upgrades that will automatically feel all warm and fuzzy inside. What this place may lack in pretty upgrades it makes up for in quality staff and incredible above and beyond love and care for animals. It is well equipped with the medical equipment needed to care for your pet. My Annabel Lee (rescue dog with anxiety issues) walks into that building with only a tad of nervous feeling and if you had any idea how huge that was ... you'd ignore all possible cosmetic disappointments because Cornelia Veterinary Hospital .. total gem.

I rescued him from a dog shelter, and I worried that he would feel abandoned once again, but after my first 1 on 1 training all my worries were put to rest. Merlin looked truly happy and seemed to really enjoy training with Wes, kind of like a good game of fetch. Watching Wes train Merlin, I could see the bond that was built in just one week. What I observed and loved about my experienced: * This training is filled with love and respect on both sides - dog and trainer. * Wes must love his job. He invests so much time into training each dog. Just like a schoolteacher, it must be a calling and he's not in it for the money. * He took time to explain all my questions and time to train me on how I can do better. I never felt like I was on a time clock. * Wes worked on my dog's individual needs, not just an expected obedience list. * After every session, I left uplifted and optimistic with the feeling that a non-reactive, well-behaved pup was in my future. Previous trainings that I tried, I would often leave the session feeling frustrated close to tears wondering if we would ever get it right. Sending my dog to K9 Justice has been the best decision and well worth every penny. If you are considering hiring a trainer, I highly recommend using K9 Justice.
