Project completed in early spring and by December of 1st winter it was chipping, pitting and falling apart. This damage has gotten worse and goes all the way up and down the driveway. They did not level the work area (you can see it) and the apron was done very poorly as well. DO NOT HIRE. This is a family company and they are a disgrace through and through. How can you rip customers off for THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS and do a crappy job and walk away. How do they look in the mirror knowing this?

What makes it worse - filling the deep ruts with the wrong sized stone. Now my little car struggled to get traction, as if in deep snow - only this was big layer of deep rock. So a friend had his gravel driveway "treated" and it rode almost as evenly as asphalt. I wanted some of that. And that's how I came to call Frank at On Call Equipment. Sure, I could rent the equipment by the hour and do it myself, but why make matters worse? Frank came out, gave me an estimate that didn't take my breath away, and said he could put me on the schedule sometime next month. Then a few days later, he called to tell me he'd finished a job sooner than expected and asked if i wanted him to come out the next day. Well, yeah. Watching him work was a thing of beauty (if you can appreciate the "wa" of a man in a machine, reconfiguring your front yard with zen ease). But the true beauty was in the results. Not only did the gravel drive LOOK well-groomed, it was a dream to drive on. He corrected grading flaws that came with the house (as well as some we made all by ourselves) and piled leftover stones behind the barn. And he did it all in a day. True test - the flood rains we had last weekend: driveway intact, dry garage, no swamp puddles. This guy knows what he's doing.

It took a few schedule misses before a team could come out to try again. The team that came out today was exceptional. Paul P was the crew leader with Steven M, Robert S, and Laywandre J. Paul agreed to try and lift the chimney this time to correct the problem. He was able to lift the chimney by three inches. I think that this team did a much better job than the one from a year ago. They also cleaned up the yard where they dug so you can't even tell they were here. Great job this time!

Over the phone they said they could cut out the bricks and replace them. They came out to my house to look at the cracks but then I didn't hear anything from them. I messaged Advanced Masonry if they looked at the cracks. They replied yes, but then said they were going to pass on the job because they came out last year and didn't get the bid. They mentioned they were a quality brick layer, but fixing cracks and laying bricks do go hand and hand. Since they didn't get a bid last year, this is how they treat you another year. They then proceeded to tell me they don't fix other peoples mistakes and only do repairs. Well that other person is not around. I was asking for a repair. So disappointed.

On our agreed start date, their entire crew arrived with heavy equipment, circled my property for 20-30 minutes, and drove away without saying a word. 1. Zero Communication: They never called to explain why they left, nor did they ever return my follow-up phone calls or text messages. 2. Wasted Preparation Costs: Relying on their confirmed date, I removed 35 plants/shrubs, took down fencing, moved stone walls, and paid for stump grinding--all for nothing. 3. Captured on Video: Ring footage showed their crew on site complaining about the job before abandoning it. I ultimately had to send formal written notice terminating our agreement and hired a different company to do the work. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. If by some means, you do decide to call this company, you might want to ask for the son, Mark, to come quote the job since it seems he is the one calling the shots.
