People who care. Bring my cats and dog here. Prices reasonable. They have helped when I lost 2 of my cats.

I had to take two of my birds here for an emergency visit as my regular vet was booked solid. I…read moremight as well have stayed home and saved the cost of the appointment because the vet literally did nothing to help my birds. Both were frightened at being in a carrier for the first time and at a new place. One of them was sitting on the floor of the carrier panting in fear. The vet looked at him and said, "Oh, he's sitting on the floor. You know what that means," insinuating he was dying. She had no idea how to weigh them (I had to suggest a box), did not examine either bird for musculature on their keels, heartrate, beak and tongue health, etc., suggested a different pellet food for them as she apparently had never heard of Roudybush before, and I heard her and one of the vet techs in the hall looking up how much fecal matter to send away for testing as they don't do it on site. She came in with a piece of Saran wrap to try to collect droppings for testing, which was absurd, as my regular vet uses swabs and does very thorough examinations. At that point, I was very upset and said enough was enough. I declined the Saran wrap fecal sample collection (I feel ridiculous even typing that), gathered my birds, paid for the visit, and left. My regular vet saw my birds a few days later and did thorough exams and testing. They're both fine. I don't know how the vet at Finch Hill is with dogs and cats, but if you have birds, I would not recommend going there as she clearly has no idea about anything avian-related and will take your money for doing absolutely nothing. I will not be returning under any circumstances.

It's pretty awesome that they can run blood work right in the office... never had results back the same day, let alone within 15 minutes. The Vet showed me the X-Ray and said "I THINK this is her uterus here but we can't see anything" The X-Ray showed a white distended area that she GUESSED was her uterus. Sent us home to come back in 3 weeks for a repeat X-ray to see if her guess was right, no blood work, no testing she was 10 why wouldn't you run labs or atleast offer them? For 3 weeks my dog suffered in silence until it became too late. After hundreds of dollars in Allentown at the emergency vet hospital it turns out she was filling with fluid which essentially caused her to go unresponsive. My perfectly healthy dog 3 weeks ago is now dead due to a guess and no offer of any other tests. I will never bring any of my other animals here. They really dropped the ball on her and it costed us not only her life but the pain of our family and children. I will be seeking legal help as this was 100% avoidable had the been so passionate about care and diagnostic testing as they advertise. They did no due their due diligence with an older dog and now my family is shattered in a way no one can fix. I do blame FALLBROOK VET CLINIC! They could have saved her instead sent her home to die....

I brought a very small young kitten there that I found in my backyard (8-12 weeks old is my best guess, maybe younger). He was very weak and had been abandoned by it's mother. I didn't think he was going to survive the first day I brought him into my home. After 3 days of hand feeding him he was up and about, following me every where I went in the house. I had taken up sleeping on the couch then because he did not like me to be away at all. He would constantly cry if I tried to sleep in my bedroom with the door shut. I didn't want to leave my door open because I knew he would try to jump into the bed with me and the bed was much too high for him. He had trouble jumping up onto a chair because he was so small. So I put up a ramp for the little guy going to the couch and took up sleeping there. It usually took him about 10-15 minutes to settle down and sleep on my chest. He loved running up and down the ramp and playfully attacking me. It was some of the best sleep I had in more than a year when he was around. After about four or five weeks and wanting the best for him I decided to take him to the vet closest to me to have checked out ( Acre Lake Veterinary Hospital ) . I wish I had driven 1 1/2 hours to my old vet. I asked them to do a check up on him and only what they thought was necessary. What they ended up doing was giving him twice the amount of two medications needed for his weight and for his age ( Feline Drontal .5 and Felogaurd Plus 4 ), he only weighed 1.2 pounds. I brought him home and he was dead four hours later. I was completely devastated and it turned me into a emotional and mental wreck. I brought the paper work to my old vet and he told me that he would have had me bring him back in 1-2 months before giving him any medication. I wanted to bring a civil suit against them but was told that it would be nearly impossible without a autopsy. I had thought about this as I was digging the hole to bury him but could not bare the thought of having him in my refrigerator or freezer as I waited to have that done. I will leave the reader with two quotes and a warning. If you love your pet do not take them here. 'Whenever a doctor cannot do good, he must be kept from doing harm." - Hippocrates "The only difference between lawyers and doctors is that lawyers simply rob you, whereas doctors both rob you and kill you too." - Anton Chekov
