This other office, when I told them how much pain my daughter was in, replied, is she a new patient? They were about to give me an appointment but since she was a new patient it would be two weeks, cause that's when the first "new patient" appointment was available. Unacceptable! Perhaps business is so good they have forgotten about patient care! I called Dr. Shapiro &Barkin's office. I pass by it daily. It was the best thing I could have done! I got an appointment that evening. My daughter was treated by Dr. Shih who was absolutely wonderful! She did a wonderful job treating the toe and making my daughter feel comfortable. I highly recommend this office and I am so lucky that we ended up here instead of that other office!

Believe it or not Dr. Greiff made a home visit to remove an in-grown toe nail and some painful bunions on my good foot. Wow! Subsequently made Dr. Greiff my podiatrist because of this "mitzvah" and I am so grateful to have him as my doctor! His office staff - very efficient and polite. Very little waiting time before the exam. Great Neck location is very clean and convient with valet parking for a buck - pleasent attendant. PS Dr. Greiff has a great sense of humor.

Remembering Dr. Hochstein being good and having a great practice, I called and made an appointment for a recent medical issue. The staff is so friendly and nice, and I never had to wait longer than five minutes to be seen. And of course, Dr. Hochstein was just as I remembered. As corny as it sounds, they really do make you feel like family at Family Foot Care. Dr. Hochstein is patient, thorough, and you get the feeling that he really cares about you and about his business. It's great walking into a doctor's office, which can often be an uncomfortable feeling, and feel welcomed. More doctors should operate their offices the way this office is run and after being a patient for so long, you can clearly tell they're consistent.

He is efficient, fast and has a great personality. I just went again to see him for an ingrown toenail. I was terrified...but in literally 15 minutes - I was walking out of there as if nothing happened. I took off the bandage 24 hours later and it looks as if nothing happened to my toe. As I see the only negative reviews have to do with the billing practices at another location not this one, I am assured that my opinion of Dr. Patel will be spot on. I am diabetic and suffer from neuropathy. Add to this that I took a nasty fall down some stairs and injured my ankle. The pain was too much so I looked up podiatrists in the area and found Dr. Patel. He not only addressed my injured ankle but suggested many new option towards treating not only my neuropathy but my diabetes as well. His bedside manner is excellent and he really cares about his patients. I see others before and after my visits and they are always in good cheer, which truly speaks highly of a doctor. I am not pain free, but Dr. Patel has so far gotten me to a point where it is indeed manageable. I can now sleep at night. That itself has made my life 10 times better.
